I recently had my muffler pipe welded at Velasquez & Son's Mufflers & Brakes in Mundelein, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience. The owner was very reasonable with pricing and worked with me to make sure I got a fair deal. The staff was friendly and kept me well-informed throughout the process, which I really appreciated. And most importantly, the repair itself was done excellently — my car sounds and runs great now. It's hard to find an auto shop where the quality of work, customer service, and fair pricing all come together like this. Velasquez & Son's checks all the boxes. I will definitely be back and highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for honest, skilled, and professional service! -David

We’ve been taking our cars here over the years for muffler related services, and they’ve always been very professional, time efficient, and affordable. I brought my newer vehicle in today for shocks and struts, dropped it off early, got a call with the estimate mid-morning, and had my car back by mid-afternoon. Great service and prices, so my brother just dropped his car off for services too. Highly recommend Velasquez & Son’s!

Highly, Highly recommended for exhaust upgrades and repairs!! Sam and Carlos went way above and beyond for me. I came in expecting to get an exhaust tip welded onto my exhaust pipe and watched as they worked. They were incredibly meticulous with the position of the tip for an optimal aesthetic, and their welds look amazing. When Sam found out my truck was a 5.0L a huge smile appeared on both their faces and he said, “So we are putting in a straight pipe, right?” I had no idea what he meant but after he took time describing the acoustic difference it would make it was a no-brainer. They completed the whole project in 40 minutes. The sound of my truck now matches its appearance and I think they were just as excited as I was with the end result. If you do go here pick Sam’s brain, he knows exhaust systems and how to give breath to the sound of your vehicle. And if he makes a recommendation don’t question it, just do it - I promise you wont be disappointed. Pricing was incredibly reasonable, you’re going to want to tip them after they are done working on your vehicle and you definitely should. Thank you Sam, Thank you Carlos- my truck sounds incredible!!
