Luis and his crew at Motus are truly the most kind, honest, and knowledgeable people I’ve ever met. Luis took great care of my Audi S5 for two years. It had over 70k miles on it and it behaved just like you’d expect an aging European performance car would. But, Luis and his team always took care of it, whether it was my bumper missing from a fender bender, or my rear view mirror randomly falling of while driving to work. (See photos 😂) Lastly, I have posted a text message exchange between the owner and I when I committed to only bringing my car to Motus in the future. Motus and the family that owns it are first class.

I had a challenging experience with a transmission issue while traveling in Illinois (I’m not from the area) and needed help fast. Motus came through in every way. They helped me find the right transmission and made the process affordable. They offered financing options so I could get the repair paid for without extra stress. They were patient and thorough, holding onto the truck and conducting several test drives to ensure the fix was right. They connected me with a trusted transmission dealer that offers a six-month warranty on the transmission. Altogether with a used transmission, the install an alignment a new battery all the hoses cleaned and flushed and cleaned out $5300 out the door Overall, I had a great experience with Motus. If you’re dealing with a transmission problem, I highly recommend them. Their reviews reflect their character and reliability, which stood out to me when I was choosing between options. Before deciding, I read a few other companies’ reviews—Motus stood out as the right choice. If you’re in a similar situation, I believe you’ll appreciate their support and transparency as much as I did.

I heard about Motus from a great friend of mine. Luis and the team are amazing to deal with. I have a 20yr old BMW X5 and needed new lower suspension parts installed. They got through all the rust and replaced the components and completed the wheel alignment within a few days. They diagnosed and fixed my power steering fluid leak and washed the engine bay as well. I was also provided a loaner vehicle while mine was being worked on. Additionally, some other information was provided based on their observations (tire tread depth, brake pad thickness, etc.) that helps me plan for the next service (in this case, not needed as soon as I thought, which is a relief). All in all, a great experience! I'll be back for sure. Thanks, Luis & Team!

Transmission went into limp mode. Code indicated major transmission problems. Brought to Luis for his opinion. Luis's team did extensive testing and found it was a simple issue and fixed within the same business day. This place will never try to perform unnecessary service or try to sell you something you don't need. Highly recommend this shop.
