Take 5 Oil Change

I brought my vehicle which is a 2022 Nissan Verda that I purchased in October of 2022 to Take 5 for a routine oil change, and after the service my hood would no longer latch properly. When I brought this to their attention, I was told the hood latch was already broken and that it was a “wear and tear” issue — which does not make sense, because they would not have been able to service my vehicle if the hood was already broken in the first place. I have documentation proving my hood latch was functioning properly prior to this visit, including service records from November showing no issues with the hood or latch. I also went to another shop to obtain an estimate, and they confirmed that the hood latch and release cable are damaged. I made it clear that this shop did not cause the issue — I only needed documentation. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of accountability from Take 5. I was repeatedly told there was “nothing they could do”, was left with a hood that doesn’t properly close which can cause damage to my engine as well as this is a safety hazard and inconvenience, I currently cannot drive on the highway and my hood could fly open if I drive too fast and they told me that I would need to take my car to a body shop, yet they could not provide a single referral or offer any assistance in resolving the issue. I was essentially dismissed and left to deal with a safety-related problem on my own. Initially, I was told the shop was rushed and that I would receive a call back, but hours passed with no follow-up. When I finally spoke with someone higher up, they tried to once again blame it on me and state that my hood was already broken based on the people who were at the shop at the time and I was informed that the main manager is currently on vacation and that they would “get back to me.” I am extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled. Instead of taking responsibility or actively working toward a resolution, the issue was repeatedly deflected despite clear documentation showing the problem occurred during their service. I am still waiting for a resolution and hope Take 5 chooses to handle this matter professionally moving forward.

Elon did a phenomenal job with servicing me today! He was polite and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. He was clear on his instructions and made sure that he kept me updated on every thing they were doing to my car. I left satisfied!! Felipe did a great job as well

I rolled in just 30 minutes before they closed, but honestly, you couldn’t even tell. The service was great. They handed me a bottle of water right off the bat, which was a nice touch. Big shoutout to Joseph, Tarence, Stephen, and JC! They knocked out my oil change quickly/efficiently and swapped my seriously overdue cabin filter. Super fast, friendly, and zero hassle.

Worst experience of my total life. They ruined my engine bay not only that they dropped the whole oil in manifold and nearby areas it was looking like a swimming pool of oil . Do not ever go to this place. You will regret the service un trained people that will ruin your whole day. I asked em to clean and what he said was enough to ruin your day . He said he cleaned as much as he could. My car looked like something else and your here saying you did enough and your the one who got it dirty. Bad service . Worst and worst they will ruin your car and you will regret it do not go there

I had a fantastic experience getting my oil change done here They were quick, thorough, and went above and beyond! Balancing my tires, cleaning my Windshield and making sure I knew every thing they were doing. The customer service was top-notch, and I’ll definitely be back!
