Very untrustworthy. I took my truck up a couple weeks ago. I specifically asked for my front and rear heater cores to be flushed out. When I dropped it off, I acknowledged I knew of other heat repairs that needed to be performed but I also knew this was a problem due to temperature checks of the hoses coming in and out of the heater cores. When I picked it up they tried to tell me they performed the work, and replaced a front heater core hose, so I paid the $180 in cash for work that was not done. I went back the next day because the rear heater core was not flushed out. This was very obvious because there were still spider webs on the connections, as seen in the picture. The next picture is the after, where the dust would obviously be cleaned off by performing the actual work. I flushed out the rear heater core myself on my next warm day. Another picture shows a small amount I cleaned out from the core, there was plenty more that spilled out. I now have better heat in the back. They wanted me to leave it for them to perform further diagnostic while trying to guarantee they did the work. They lied to me. Stay away!! On top of an estimate for replacing an exhaust manifold, they told me $450 for just the manifold part, 1800 to replace the exhaust system. There are multiple exhaust manifolds available for $45 for my truck. Stay away!! Updated after they tried to insult me on 12/16. How dare you assume I couldn’t afford the repair. As I stated, I knew of the other problems. I had parts on order for them. You took my money for a specific service I also needed and did not perform that service. Plain and simple. I was trying to help a local company and I got screwed.

I was referred here and stopped in without even calling ahead. I explained my car problem and they were able to repair it right away. They are honest, professional, and so helpful. Thank God I found them, and they’re only a few blocks from my home! If you want great, honest service, this is the place to go. 🚗✨

I brought my Prius here for diagnostic work and was very disappointed. Despite asking multiple times, they refused to provide a proper diagnostic report or even confirm which scanner was used. Any hybrid-capable shop should be transparent about their tools (Techstream, Autel, Launch, etc.) and be able to print stored codes, especially for Prius systems. Instead, I was told to authorize expensive repairs without any documentation or proof of the actual problem. When I pressed for details, they became defensive and told me to “just pick up the car.” That is not professional customer service. Transparency and honesty are key in auto repair. If a shop can’t provide a clear scan report, explain their process, or stand behind their recommendations, that’s a major red flag. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially hybrid owners who need a shop with real Toyota Prius expertise.

Emporium mufflers is the best place to go for ANY auto repair needs. Not only are they good at repairs, they show genuine concern for your vehicle needs. And I have to give a special shout out to Maria and Carlos. They actually stayed past closing hours to insure that my car was not only repaired, but repaired to my satisfaction. I now wouldn't dare take my car anywhere else. I give them two thumbs up, and that's only because I only have two. 😄Keep up the great work guys. 👍🏾👍🏾

These guys are pretty awesome. I had brought my 87 Fiero to the Firestone nearby for 2 tires mount/balanced. Those idiots ignored my warnings that it's a unique car and jacked it up wrong. Broke the engine/transmission coolant lines and snapped some irreplaceable body ferring parts. In every aspect working with them sucked and they should not work on cars. But it got towed to Emporium and thank God it did. They worked with me for a month while I fought firestone, started work with a very fair deposit, and did some very good work (especially considering I'm sure they've never worked on a fiero before). I do not give recommendations lightly, and I trust no one except myself to work on my cars (state inspections and mounting tires are the only exception). It literally took being forced into this situation to hand over my keys, and I was admittedly nervous the entire time. But they proved me wrong. This is mostly a message for other car guys, I'd trust them with your dream car. They did just as good as I would've done.
