Costco Tire Service Center

I got my car into the tire service for a change of tires that i prepaid and everything couple days prior. My appointment was at 5:30. Around 7:40 I go to check and non of the tires are not only not on my car but not even on the rims. I talk to the manager which was very nice and helpful and she said another 25-30 minutes would be needed. This is insane. It does not take almost 3 hours to change 4 tires. I do not recommend coming here if you don’t want to waste your time. UPDATE : 8:15 I picked up my car with fresh damage to my rims.

I love Costco. And Adam from the Costco Tire Service Center really exceeded my expectations. There's always a societal expectation that car repair folks will take advantage of you. But not Adam. Adam resolved my issues quickly and appropriately. He's a delight to talk to. He did a great job working on my tires. And he seems like a kind dude. Highly recommend working with him.

It takes real talent to be one of the laziest and most disengaged employee in the tire service industry and yet work for one of the most customer focused retailers. It would be sad if it was not comical to see and listen to a technician (floor shop lead!) by the name Leo come up with ANY non-sense explanation to justify not doing basic work by overplaying the liability card. Insulting customer's intelligence at its best. His supervisor, Dan, seemed even more disengaged and hence appeared even more inadequate. These two individuals have clear technical deficiencies and lack the concept of providing positive customer experience. I do not understand why management tolerates such behavior. At the end, I just went to another Costco in the area and received the type of service I would expect from Costco. Avoid this Costco Tire Center location or simply go to a competitor that is much more willing to earn your business.

Was planning to change all tires on my SUV. Came up and was not even greeted by the black gentleman working here. No big deal. I inquired about their tires, brands, and pricing. Was asked for car model and year, after which i was told that there are 3 tire sizes for that model. I had the tire size photographed from the tire itself but the gentleman was not interested at viewing the picture and selected the 19" from the computer while my photo ended with R20... He listed off a few tire names and price points which is great if i knew what they were and the differences between them. He was however very eager to speak up to his passing coworker with an audible "Gang Gang" and some hand gesture which made it seem he has some type of arthritis. Wish his enthusiasm towards customer service had that much game and finesse. Skipped the tires here and went to a Costco in the northern parts of Chicagoland where i not only received a breakdown of the different brands and options, but also full information on which tires will have rebates and are suitable for my style of driving. Good job on the hiring process Costco. Glad you see the merit in people. I'd recommend to skip this place and go to a different Costco or a Discount Tire.

I am a senior citizen. I needed help putting air in my tires - on a very cold morning. A service man (sorry I didn’t get his name) came out to help me. He was very pleasant and checked and filled all of my tires. He would not even accept some money for his trouble. I don’t experience that kind of care very often. THANK YOU!!
