ATL TOTAL CAR CARE

I originally sent my car here because it shuts off while idol. Xavier the owner said my car needed a starter, relay and housing. I picked up the car and it stopped 6 times on the way home. I brought it back and he said it’s the engine. My warranty covered it but it didn’t fix the shut off problem. Xavier then said it’s a misfire and said it was fixed. I also had no heat after the engine job so they pretended to fix it. Another shop verified that I still had the misfire. I went back to ATL thinking it’s all engine related because they said my tuneup was not done when the engine was not replaced. Xavier then told me that I needed an Alternator. The car is now over heating. He calls my warranty to approve my radiator and thermostat replacement. Keep in mind that when I dropped it off I mentioned the misfire and the car still shutting off. If you’re wondering why I kept returning, it’s because they now have the warranty on my engine and everything has been engine related, but they won’t fix it because they already got paid. The engine and radiator were the only covered components on my warranty. Everything else is out of pocket cost. I failed the emissions testing even with all of this work done and they still refused to fix the misfire. Do business with these folks at your own risk. I forgot to mention that they got this 70 year old mechanic that hasn’t ran one diagnostic on my vehicle. He’s rude and nasty when you question his work and ask for diagnosis proof. He just keeps guessing instead of fixing the problem. You will be sorry doing business with these people. I didn’t want to give them the one star that I did give them. I never said I had an uncle that would fix my car. I paid you thousands of dollars and you should have completed the work that I paid for. You last had my vehicle about 10 days and didn’t bother to fix the misfire. Just say you refuse to honor the part and labor warranty. I was a good customer and you screwed me over.

Had to pay for motor mounts and ac compressor and tire rods and took my warranty i had with endurance and didnt fix the ac compressor at all. Had to go to another shop and spent $1700 to replace engine mounts that were never replaced. The repairs never showed up in the carfax report so I know nothing was ever fixed just a waste of money and time. Like tried to support black business but got completely cheated.

The worst auto mechanic place ever. I gave them a second try and they scammed me again. Do not go to this place. Horrible mechanics and very unknowable of fixing cars. They will take your money and give you a refund when the repairs are not done. Warning

I strongly advise against bringing your vehicle to this establishment. If it were possible to rate this business zero stars, I would do so. My husband and I paid the owner, Xavier, several thousand dollars to repair our transmission. Not only did he keep our vehicle for months, but within two weeks of finally receiving it back, the transmission failed again. When we had the car towed back, Xavier accused us of damaging the catalytic converter—something that made no sense, as we had barely had the vehicle long enough to cause any damage. Despite this, we paid an additional several thousand dollars for the repair. Only a few months later, the vehicle failed yet again. NEVER HAD THE VEHICLE IN OUR POSSESSION MORE THAN 3 MONTHS AFTER REPAIRS WERE DONE! Upon contacting him, we were informed that the warranty on the transmission had already expired. We then took the vehicle to Infiniti for a full inspection, where we were told the transmission installed was defective and contained incorrect screws and bolts. In fact, many of the screws appeared to have been cut in order to make them fit improperly. At this point, it is clear that my husband and I were taken advantage of. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Please be cautious. THIS GUY WILL TELL Y’ALL ANYTHING!

1st time coming to ATL for a valve job on my 87 Monte Carlo..was very satisfied with the service. Xavier & Willie were honest and straight forward with the work on my car, which only took 1 day to complete. I look forward to doing business again with them in the future.
