I want to express my deepest gratitude to Service Director Ken Lewis and Service Consultant Robert Ritz for their outstanding professionalism and support. I brought in my Audi A5 with an issue related to the MMI system that technically fell outside the scope of the CPO warranty. However, after carefully reviewing the situation and listening to my concerns, Ken made a customer-focused decision to cover the repair at no cost. This level of integrity and dedication to customer satisfaction is truly rare. Not only was the issue fully resolved, but I was also provided with a complimentary loaner vehicle during the service — making the entire process smooth and stress-free. This is without a doubt the best Audi dealership in the Chicago area. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else — if you want things done right and with respect for your time and concerns, this is the place to go. Thank you again to the entire service team!

I am writing this to share my honest opinion with my recent experience at The Audi Exchange Service. I dropped my car off at 8AM, the diagnostics were finished at 10:15AM but did not receive a call or update on my service until 7PM that night (over 9 hours later). They could not find anything with 2/3 of the problems I had brought the car in for even though I had videos to prove what was wrong with the car. Throughout the entire time that my car was in the shop, I always had to prompt and call for updates. They have one of the the highest labor rates in the city of Chicago, at $329/hour. All others are $305 or less. Be aware, most of the extended warranty companies will not pay the full rate, and you are required to cover the difference to their incredibly high price on top of your deductible. When I went to go pick up my car, I found my belly pan (plastic piece under the car) in my trunk. The service technician had forgotten to put it back on. The service manager Ken Lewis, came right up to me and apologized, conveying to me that the technician had lost the piece and couldn’t remember where he had put it. Then, he came back and stated that they did not know I was coming in on Tuesday, and that they were going to get back to it because they had just finished the service the night before on Monday. However, according to them and myAudi app, the car’s service was finished on a Friday but no one had called to say that my work was completed. He stated he was going to “make this right” and immediately have them put it back on, making me late for work. Then, he gave me $100 towards my next service, not anything toward the bill I had just paid for this service. While I understand mistakes happen, at $329/hr for service, things should be double-checked before stating to the customer “everything is ready” and requiring the customer to find the mistakes or forgotten parts.

Window was stuck open and they got me in on New Year’s Eve, repaired in a couple hours, free car wash, and out the door. Nice waiting area too!

I went in for an oil change, was told I needed new tires. They sold me 2 year old tires, and didn’t even notice the battery, which died 24 hours later. The old tires had dry rot. They totally screwed me! This service was done when car was in my mother’s name. The tires were not used, they were 2 year old new stock. So they were bad quick, and they were not even the best tires for the car. I will delete this post, but only after one more month of views. You disappoint me as a local business!

Had recall and 4G module installation work done. Overall great experience! Really impressed that the technician sends you a video of your car and goes over inspection results. Never have experienced that before. The loaner vehicle center console was kind of dirty and crumby, but they were very busy so I don’t expect a detail in 5 minutes in between customers.
