Incredible integrity from this father-daughter team! I live in Austin, TX, but when my sister (a single mom living in Elgin) had car trouble, I knew exactly where to send her based on other relatives having great experience with them. Her Honda’s splash shield had broken off, and a local dealership quoted her over $500 to replace the whole thing. I told her to come here instead because I know how honest they are. This father-daughter team took a look and immediately told her it didn’t need to be replaced. They fixed the broken part for just $60. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation like the dealership tried to, but they chose honesty instead. It is so rare to find mechanics with this level of integrity. First time at Steven's and I'll be going back! My muffler/ exhaust system had a bunch of holes in it-- my car is 20 years old and I really didn't want to have to replace the whole exhaust system- which would have probably cost over 2K. The shop was great-- listened to what I wanted and was able to make it work. Saved me a ton of money from having to replace the whole exhaust system. I think it was a tougher job/ more expensive job than they let on, but they did it for less than they quoted me! I felt they were very helpful, honest, and listened to what I wanted. They knew I didn't want to dump a bunch of money into a 20 year car and they fixed it up great for a great price! Really appreciate their honesty, efficiency, and professionalism. Go here. You'll feel like you're working with people who care about you and earning your business.

View on GoogleMy daughter is a college student in Dekalb and works in Geneva. She called me yesterday morning on her way to work complaining of car issues. I looked up auto shops and chose this place for her to drop her car because it had high reviews and we knew she shouldn’t drive all the way to our hometown for repairs. They treated her so amazing! Fixed her car that day by the time she got off work and the repair cost was great. It’s tough when your child is away at school dealing with car issues so it was nice to not have her taken advantage of! Highly recommend this place!
