Currie Motors Ford of Frankfort Service Center

Brought my explorer in as one of the middle row seats was stuck vent forward. Paid the $240 fee to have it looked at for them to call and tell me that the whole seat is broken, needs to be replaced and would cost over $5,000 in parts and labor. My husband did a quick search for that specific seat for our specific model and it was no more than $250....we were quoted over $4,000...we obviously declined the service and ate the $240 diagnostic fee. Today my 63 year old mother removed the seat herself, took the back off and fixed it...image attached of the fixed seat. I would stay far far away from this service center as I don't even believe they looked at the seat and tried to get money out of us.

Bob from the service department sets the precedence of what customer service should be- and was long-ago. He reinstilled my faith in trustworthy business and with a slice of mom-and-pop service. Bob is the best communicating service advisor or automotive "professional" I've dealt with and l've been in the parts business during my younger years. You just don't see this type of commitment and care towards a customer anymore. If Ford awarded anyone with a customer service award, I'd hope Bob gets it. He's earned it. He does things right and advocates for what's best for the customer. Most importantly he doesn't rush you or your time talking. He's a great people-person and just pleasure to speak with. Bob has won my business going forward. Couldn't be happier with my experience regarding Bob. Very grateful for Bob- he retained this customer ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

SCAMMERS! Do not bring your vehicle here for service. I was told I needed new brakes and a new battery after coming in for an oil change when I had just replaced my brakes a few months prior. I got a second opinion at another Ford dealership, come to find out the brakes and battery both passed and were not needed at that time. Currie is full of scammers. I had brought this to the attention of the shorter woman who sits at the desk closest to the customer waiting area, and she was not willing to help at all and gave me a ton of attitude about the situation saying it was ridiculous to think they would do something like that. I asked to speak with the mechanic who completed the report and she would not allow it. When I went to pay, a newer service rep tried ringing me out but had trouble pulling things up and she grabbed the paperwork out of his hand and said she would do it because he was moving to slow (I had zero problem waiting for this person to figure things out as they were trying their hardest to help and was clearly newer) . She also tried slipping my coupon for “the works” package under her keyboard and not applying the correct discount. When I had called her out on this, she said it must have fallen and didn’t see it (even though I handed it right to her) and then proceeded to apply the discount. I will be submitting the bogus vehicle report they gave me to the FTC to review. I know several people who have also had similar experiences and would not trust these people at all.

Service is absolutely trash. Brought my Box Truck in three multiple times just for them not to finish it or yet, start on it. I was told by the service desk that it would only take a day and a half. Now I’m sitting here three weeks later with a broken Box Truck still. Don’t waste your time bringing anything in the Ford.

I absolutely love this location. Bob is the service guy that always takes care of us. He is so kind and they always are quick and everyone is always so kind.
