Darien Tire & Auto

Went to get my AC checked to see if I had a leak. They said they were charging me $90 to check to see if I had the leak I dropped my car off. I left my car there came back and my bill was $330. I was confused. I did not know what was going on. They told me everything was fine. I should be OK. I didn’t have a leak that didn’t leak at the time. My AC compressor looked good in three days later my AC went back out. I went back up there to talk to the same man who gave me the $90 quote and ended up charging me $330 he had an attitude it was very unprofessional and started to get a little rude and frustrated because he realize that I realized he got over on me and then he told me he can recheck everything he can look for the leak but I’m gonna have to pay for labor all over again. I pretty much paid $330 just for a Freon recharge. I will not recommend this shop when it comes to ac work and I will never go back to the shop or recommend anybody there they get 000 stars from me.

The guys at darien tire and auto were extremely helpful. We spoke to Mark and Steve and they were very kind along with letting us keep my car there for a week and a half while we came up with the money to pay for the repairs. They gave us a great deal and made the process very easy. They also managed to get the repairs done very quickly, which was extremely helpful. Overall we had a great experience at Darien tire and auto. We will be coming here again for future auto Repairs!

New to the area and hoping to find an honest and affordable car repair shop. Steve was excellent to deal with and got the job done within hours. New tires, complete brake job, oil change and top off was done efficiently while affordable. Happy to find Darien Tire and Auto.

I took my dad's car in to Steve and his crew for exhaust work. It's an older car and I was concerned about the cost of the repair. I'm sure many repair shops would only suggest total replacement. But the guys at Darien Auto understood the situation and gave me a couple different options. I chose the right one for us, saved a lot of money and they had it completed later that day. The work looks complete, neat and professional. The old Buick purrs like kitten now. I had a similar great experience with them on a Silverado brake job a couple years ago. BTW. The waiting room is clean and welcoming for all. Thanks Darien Auto/Goodyear!

Absolute scam artists who pray on their customers ignorance. When questioned about any basic mistakes on their part they verbally attack you. Had breaks and rotors replaced at their shop. They completely installed the equipment incorrectly multiple times, and used incorrect hardware intended for the rear break calipers. The result was less than 5 months before the rotors were scored badly, and pads worn completely from hanging up. Best part was finding the rapper of the brake pads, with the shops and gm’s name / address stuffed into my frame, days after the installation and lug nuts missing. When I called to discuss this issue the GM used profanity and was completely unprofessional.
