First time I have been here. Called and was told I could be seen on same day. Discussed what concerns were. Appreciated being listened to with respect and courtesy. Left my Subaru overnight and Cody called with an update. He said they pulled codes from car and that three fluids were either low or needed replacing. As it was considerably more money I hesitated. He did not pressure me to do anymore, but as the car was nearing 100K miles I decided to go ahead. We picked up the car the next day and I feel very comfortable they will continue to do my cars service in the future. Very straightforward and accommodating and did it all in two days. A really pleasant experience!

I had my car towed to Bartel's in Carol Stream after hours recently and they were fantastic! They were quick to diagnose and sent me a detailed report shortly after opening the next morning. The cherry on top was the video explaining in detail and showing exactly what was wrong. I had never seen anything like this before - what a phenomenal idea!! All information is upfront, no hidden nonsense. I love it! They worked with me on payment, which was another huge relief. They even came to my house to pick me up to get my car! Are you serious?! 💖💖 All employees were friendly, helpful and professional. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend. Bartel's is the GOAT! Thank you guys! You're the best.

Amazing service!! My husband, 2 year old son and I were leaving on a small trip on a Sunday morning when we found out there was a nail in my tire. They were willing to have us come right on in (other places were closed or couldn’t get us in till much later which wasn’t an option) they fixed the tire super quickly so we were on our way on the road with no further problems. For a bad start of the day they definitely quickly changed that for us. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for the great, quick and friendly service and for helping us so last minute! I will forever be appreciative and I highly recommend to anyone who may need a service!

I had repairs done towards beginning of the year. I had been going here for quite some time for general maintenance and had little to no issue with everyone. The repairs at the beginning of the year were done, and 2 days later there were more vehicle complications with my engine. After I brought it back, Cody Miller (assistant manager) admitted negligence on the shop's part after I explained more of the issues with my vehicle, and stated they should've kept my vehicle a little longer for further testing and ensuring all would work ok. As you can assume, I was upset at this. While they did not charge me for the loaner car and ubers to commute to work (which I did appreciate), they attempted to charge me an additional $5,000 for repairs due to part 2 of this. One would assume a good business model would be to not financially effect a customer because of their own admitted mistakes and eat the costs, because again, Cody concisely admitted they did not do what they should have. After we eventually agreed to a new price for repairs, I had to understandably finance repair payments. No one at shop gave me the opportunity to understand the breakdown of payments with Kolafi (their apparent financial aid lender), and now I am stuck paying about 6x more than what the repairs were. Utter failures by Bartels Auto Clinic across the board. I have since moved away from the general Chicagoland area, and I most definitely will not miss going to their facility.

This was my first visit to Bartel’s in Carol Stream. They were recommended by numerous people. They treat you like family as soon as you walk in the door. They took me in the shop and actually showed me what was wrong with my vehicle. The customer service doesn’t end at the front desk, the mechanics were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They actually stayed late so I could get my car the same day. They dropped me off and picked me up when my car was ready. Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had getting my car fixed. I highly recommend Bartel’s. I won’t take any of my vehicles anywhere else.
