I’ve been going to Francen & Son for a while now, and they continue to prove why they’re the only shop I trust with my car. Most recently, they handled my oil change and fixed a rattling heat shield that had been driving me crazy, and as always, the experience was excellent from start to finish. They’re honest, professional, and always take the time to explain things clearly without ever pushing unnecessary repairs or upselling. It’s rare to find a mechanic shop that consistently does quality work and genuinely cares about their customers, but Francen & Son absolutely does. The work was done quickly, the pricing was fair, and my car is running quietly again. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and that’s why I keep coming back. Highly recommend Francen & Son to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy service.

I trust the folks at Francen to give me expert advice and problem solving skills for maintaining my 2019 Jag. On this visit they performed routine maintenance, repaired a tire with a slow leak, and reinstalled a backup camera that was detached from its mounting inside the rear bumper that required full removal and reinstall of the bumper. All work completed flawlessly, timely, reasonably. Thanks Frank and team!

I have been to ALL the Auto Shops around - including outside the area looking for good service since I moved to Illinois back in the late 90"s. These guys are exceptional. They seem to really care about their customers - its genuine and I feel it when I walk in the door. The reception guys (especially Frank), at the front desk, are personable and very well versed and knowledgeable in everything Automotive. They even take the time to fully explain to the customer what the vehicle needs, why and solutions. Prices are more than fair for services provided, with no trying to upsell you. I always walk away with a vehicle in much better condition than when I brought it in. If you need ANY KIND of automotive services - go to Francen & Son. They'll treat you and your ride real good. After test driving and examining my 2011 Subaru Forester, a gift from my late-husband, while my car was still on the lift, Kevin and Keith personally went over the issues they found on my Forester, from front to back. They were able to save me quite a bit of money compared to the estimates given to me by other mechanics, and Francen and Son guarantees their work! They are definitely not looking to charge people for unnecessary repairs. Their prices are very fair. They seem to be a very respectable business with a strong moral code. I highly recommend them!
