Driven Performance Addison

I am so glad to have found Driven Performance to work on my 1956 Chevy Bel Air. Places equipped to handle the needs of a classic car are few and far between, and it’s hard to know who to trust. You can trust these folks!! Everyone I dealt with, from the front of house (Kathryn and Lupe) to the coordinator (Curtis) and my mechanic (Aaron) was phenomenal. They gave me solid advice and offered options to best suit my situation and my car. I never felt talked down to if I didn’t understand something. Pricing was more than fair (remember, you’re paying for expertise) and the quote was very close to actual cost (labor times vary depending on how long some work takes, which makes sense). The shop was CLEAN. I was confident and comfortable taking my family heirloom here. Invoicing was extremely well detailed so I can reference exactly what was done, and I have plans to return in the fall for some more work. For now, I can’t thank the team at Driven Performance enough for getting my car in safe, reliable condition to enjoy this summer.

Don’t know where to start because I want to give Driven Performance 15 stars. Brought my 1967 Camaro, that I had just purchased, with a boat load of issues into Driven Performance (Addison location) and after meeting with Curtis, I knew this was the only place I ever wanted my car worked on. Great conversations and game plan heading into the work with lots of curves thrown at us with the state of the engine. Curtis communicated to me often and answered every call or text I sent. Him and the two gentleman that worked on my car would ask about current fixes vs what are we doing to the car down the road so it wasn’t a “patch” until I had to upgrade down the road. These conversations will end up saving me money in the long run. After about 3.5 weeks, I got my car back and it’s a brand new car. Healthy engine and electrical because of their work. I couldn’t believe it would run this well and we aren’t even done. I plan on bringing the car back in the Fall to work on 3 more smaller projects before the winter. If you love your car and want THE BEST working on it, don’t hesitate, bring it to Driven Performance. Thank you again Curtis, Mike, Aaron, and the whole team!

Really appreciated the effort by our technician Aaron to carefully explain what steps were being taken to make our 1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxy 500 convertible safe to drive again. Although it is Winter now, Spring is just around the corner and we cannot wait to put her on the road again. Under the watchful direction of Tiny, the entire team of technicians and staff including Curtis in Customer Service, Catherine and Lupe in the front office and accounting worked as a team to be sure we were delighted with the work completed and the overall experience we had. Well done to Driven Performance Group!

Tiny and the whole crew helped me with a full nut and bolt restoration which lasted 3 1/2 years. Over that time I was explained everything step by step, asked my input on updates, and was welcomed to visit the shop anytime during the process to view progress. I now have a car I have always wanted and more.

Being someone who has been working on his own cars for a few years now I was very hesitant to bring my classic into just any old shop, I was looking for a shop that was willing to put time and effort into my car without just letting it sit there for months, also I wanted to bring it to a shop that was knowledgeable and specialized in classic autos. My project needed to be timed and tuned as the final stage of the build along with a few very minor things like leaks. I spoke to Tiny who seemed really knowledgeable and spoke highly of his crew, I decided to give them a chance, from the time I dropped the car off to the time it was ready for pick up I was in constant contact with the crew, I was updated with everything that has been done and the things that need to be done in the future, Dan worked on my car and was very thorough with everything he did, his explanations of the work done was very detailed and precise. I have never had a more pleasant and stress free shop visit. I will definitely be doing business with the Driven team again. A+!
