John Petrie did a great job on educating me about my car as well as kept me updated every step of the way during the inspection and repairs. I had been taking my Nissan Rogue to the Auto Plus location in Lombard for many years - no complaints. And to their credit, the team at the Auto Plus in Addison, John Petrie (Service Advisor) and Sergio (Technician) provided me with world class service, professionalism and great care. Thank you both!

I leave reviews when a place truly stands out, and this Auto Plus absolutely does. It’s a smaller auto shop, which actually made the experience feel more personal and trustworthy. The team is clearly very skilled and knowledgeable, and they take their time to be thorough rather than rushing through the work. What impressed me most was their honesty. They didn’t try to oversell me on anything unnecessary, which unfortunately isn’t always the case with car service places. Instead, they explained things clearly and focused on safety and what my car will realistically need in the future. For example, they checked my tires and explained the tread levels to me. New tires start around a “10,” mine are currently at about a “5,” and you legally need new tires at a “3.” Instead of trying to push a sale, they told me I likely don’t need new tires until the fall. That level of transparency really built trust. They even showed me a list of tire options specifically for my car that they felt were the safest choices, and their prices were very reasonable. They’re confident enough in their pricing that they’ll match other tire prices you find. I walked away feeling informed instead of pressured, which is rare. They were simply looking out for my safety and helping me understand what to keep an eye on in the future. Just a heads-up: because it’s a smaller shop and they do such quality work, you should make an appointment ahead of time. They’re clearly in demand, and after my experience I completely understand why. If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgeable place for any and all car maintenanc, I would highly recommend Auto Plus to meet your needs and exceed your expectations!

I was very pleased with my service yesterday. Besides having the oil change I had a few filters that needed to be changed as well. (Not a fan of the deodorant in the cabin filter though) hopefully it will dissipate with time. I was especially impressed with the promptness of my appointment time. That is #1 in importance to me. Nothing worse than making an appointment and waiting...thank you for that. Will be back for more services in the near future!
