Short story… traveling from Iowa and our car started running rough. We thought it was an exhaust issue. Found this company on Google, they found a small fire had happened took REALLY good care of us and got us back on the road! Long story, Traveling from Iowa our car started sputtering, and running rough. We lost 5 mpg’s. We started smelling burn wire smell, pulled over couldn’t find anything noticeable. Quick google search it said it’s a clogged catalytic converter. Found mountain home car care on google, called them the next morning and they got me in after moving some things around as I was traveling and need to get back to Iowa. They called me about 3hrs after we dropped it off to come in to there shop, the showed me in person the picture attached. There was a fire under my car and it melted a bunch of parts that should not be melted. They ordered the part custom made a heat shield cleaned up all the plastic and got us back in the road. Very honest God loving shop. P.s I loved and appreciated the signs about God in the shop.

We had a major cooling system failure on our way back from WA to AZ in our RoadTrek motorhome. Every shop was 2 to 3 weeks out for repair. Including Mountain Home Car Car. Mike got us in and back on the road in under 24 hours. At a very reasonable and fair price to boot. Even hauled us and our 3 dogs to the Motel. Highly recommended this owner, crew and shop. If there’s ever someone who deserves a raise it’s that guy, he has been consistently professional and knowledgable, I can tell he cares about the shop running smoothly and that the customer gets peak service. I had the opportunity to speak with him between shifts and he showed himself to be a leader with integrity. The crew from MHCC all seem to be great lads and I’d trust them with any future care issues.
