Hanigan Auto Sales and Repair

I've been on a mission to find the perfect Equinox for a while and the highway just happened to take us through Emmett on our journey... I had my friend Google what car lots were nearby and we were literally right around the corner from Hanigan's lot... I pull up and see two Equinoxes sitting right up front! My friend and I pull in, get out and this guy comes walking towards us and greets us right away... It turns out I recognized Marty right away as somebody that I went to school with in Payette! Holy cow! Long story longer, I drove both equinoxes and fell in love with one right away, but thought I needed to think on it a bit. We left to go take a drive into Meridian, ate some sushi and I decided I wanted that car! Marty & Tyler started the process with the paperwork but I got pulled away to a family emergency so we didn't get it done the first night... After work the next day, my friend picked me up and we flew to Emmett to seal the deal! Marty & Jacob made the process fluid and painless! I freaking love my little car and I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a solid used vehicle! I felt like I got the family treatment for sure! The cool thing about this little dealership too is they have a full fledged shop in the back for all of your auto needs! I plan on using them for any future work I may need!! 🤗

We purchased two vehicles from Marty and his staff. They are good people! My complaint is recently the service department on two separate visits at about 277.00 my electrical problem was not resolved. So unfortunately we will not be doing business with them again. Sorry to say.their tow truck also charged me 100.00 for 1.4 miles?! It's disheartening to lose a business over things like this.

Jacob was amazing! We told him what we wanted and our price range and he found our perfect car! The entire process was smooth and quick, we couldn't be happier! Thank you!

I saw this 4/4 truck on market place. It was a 2002 Ford ranger with only 140000 miles, listed at $2000 Great right for a 4x4.. No, they. Lied about everything on the truck. It was salvage title and the head gasket was blown ok Id have everything fixed. Lol turns out the 4X4 doesn't work. The sales kid said they have an on-site mechanic that looked at it. The fore low and 4 high lights go on and he said it worked. The truck is listed online as a 4x4. I drove to emmett to buy this truck. My opinion, Im calling fraud. I think they knew everything that was wrong with this truck. I'd like to see the list of repairs.They're on site mechanic did? I'm guessing he did none. I called to complain because it wasn't just the four wheel drive, the headgasket also needs replaced They lied and mislead about the four wheel drive. I called to complain and it seemed the manager may help out but no, just more lies. I wanted to take a vehicle I was interested in to my mechanic so they couldn't swindle me again. Most reputable dealerships would allow it, for a pre purchase inspection, which is what I should have done to begin with. They wouldn't allow it because they have their own mechanic. So now I need to contact the attorney general, the BBB. and FTC. Pretty sure they can't change anything but, if it gets one person to ask questions and have it looked at closely by a professional then I helped somebody. The 4 wheel drive, they said worked does not, they sold it as a 4 wheel drive. I may sue small claims but for now, I'll let the internet handle it, My recommendation, Google values. Vehicles are over priced (my opinion) but Google it. I will tell as many people as I could my story about Hannigan Auto and Regret Just so you know, the truck I was interested in was leaking In several locations. (Managers words) That's the truck I wanted to take to my mechanic. These guys have their own mechanic they say, the original salesman said it was looked at. Their mechanic looks at everything he said. The lie was the 4/4 worked. look at everything but with experience he fixed nothing but knew about the condition of the ranger.

Tyler was terrific. I wasn’t the easiest customer and he took it all in stride with a smile on his face. Jacob was great as well, and I appreciate the time they both spent with me. I’m very happy that I was able to find a vehicle I love and could stay local.
