Made an appointment for Truman Automotive because they are literally the only place I could find open in Indianola on a Saturday. They seem like super super good dudes however my issue was with the pricing of the services that I received. I came in for an oil change and got it priced over the phone of somewhere between $60 and $70. For full synthetic that wasn't too shabby. However I got there and I asked them to rotate my tires as well. That's always been kind of standard with any oil change I've gotten and I've never ever had that be an entirely separate charge when I've gotten an oil change anywhere else. That being the case, I didn't even think to ask. That was entirely my fault and my mistake. They got me done and it was a fast service (which I really appreciated). When I was checking out, I got sticker shock. $122! They charged me separately for the tire rotation (which was almost $40 alone) and the oil change was almost $80. I was really hoping to find a reasonable and trustworthy long-term mechanic in Indianola since I just moved here but unfortunately will definitely not be going back.

Josh is a great guy. Always takes great care of my car. The shop dogs are a big highlight for my visits. Always have a treat for them. Most trustworthy mechanic shop out there as far as I'm concerned.

I know he is busy but makes everyone feel no problem no job to big or to small and important easy comfortable as he diagnosed recommended what needs done. Does not sugar coat problems just truth and facts And definitely cares about safety of vehicle and driver. Wish I would have him check out vehicles when I was looking to purchase one. I would feel confident and not a sales person taking advantage of a girl. I've known Josh a very long time and he can do a huge amount of work so car could be taken out on town same day. I have and will recommend him.
