Maykayla, Drew, Alex, Mike, Corey did amazing on trying very hard to getting me into a vehicle I like and got to choose from. Had terrible experience with Greg Young Chevolet off of 180th exit due to then not working with me on getting into a 3rd row car. Edwards got me into a 3rd row that is fully loaded and has everything my kids and I would want in the car even extra things which is a bonus AND 2 sets of keys!! I will come back after this car is paid off to get the next vehicle. Thank you for all the hard work from Edwards. Got amazing people that actually listen and WILL get you approved instead of giving up right away like Greg young. I would recommend my family and friends to come to Edwards. If anyone is looking for a vehicle, Maykayla and Drue will be great sale agents to work with and there bosses are great even the finance team!! BODY DAMAGE not DISCLOSED - I purchased a Ford Transit 250 from Edwards Chrysler in Council Bluffs, IA on 4/21/26. When the van arrived on 4/23/26 I immediately noticed there was 23” of body damage at the top edge of the vehicle. I took pics and sent them to the dealership shortly after receiving the vehicle. Prior to the purchase I had asked for pics of all scratches and/or dings. Lea a sales representative specifically told me there was “No body damage.” Manny another sales representative sent me a pic of what he thought was damage of paint discoloration. They did not send me a pic of the 23” of body damage at the top edge. When I phoned Lea I was unsure if the damage had been done during the transport. During the conversation with Lea it became evident the damage was prior to transport. At no time had either sales representative been upfront disclosing or sending an individual pic of the 23” of damage at the top edge of the vehicle. The pics they had previously sent never highlighted nor distinctly showed the damage as the pic they sent of the paint discoloration that was easily buffed out. They did send a side pic of the van and even when the pic is enlarged it does not show the damage. The conversation with Lea became hostile and I asked if the GM could be invited into the conversation and for the three of us to discuss the damage to the vehicle. I received a call back from Tom, a sales manager, who stated there would be no compensation for the damage even though it had not been previously disclosed. I asked him if he had seen the photos of the damage and he said “I have not seen the photos”. He said the photos did not play a part in the decision. I asked if the GM or dealership owner was aware of the situation. He stated the GM Heath Thomas was aware. I tried to call the Heath - the call was sent to voicemail and I have not received a call back. I had a good experience with Matt, Corey, Michelle and RJ during the purchase of the vehicle. It is important to know Edwards Chrysler dealership did deceive me by never disclosing the 23” of body damage prior to the sale. What had been a good buying experience turned into a nightmare. Upgraded Information: Heath Thomas the GM gave me a call regarding the body damage on the vehicle I had purchased on 4/21/26 and received on 4/23/26. It was revealing on the phone call when Heath the GM said; “He would not compensate me $1 for the damage.” He offered to buy back the vehicle and went on to say “He would then sell it for more money.” He made it clear it he wanted an answer on the spot if I wanted to return the vehicle. The GM said, not everybody is “Anal” about buying a used vehicle. I told him I had told the sales representatives it was important to me the vehicle look good because it was for my wife. My wife trains service dogs and delivers them to her clients and I wanted a great looking vehicle. Definitely one without body damage. Afterwards I received a call from the transport company calling to confirm the delivery went well - I relayed my concern of body damage and told them I felt the damage was prior to the pick up. The transporter was willing to take responsibility for the damage if it happened during the transport. He took the time to send me pictures verifying the damage had been documented at the time of pickup. It spoke volumes to the transport broker that the dealership was unwilling to take ownership of the mistake. He said “It would make him think twice before buying from that dealership.” The transporters photos easily showed, confirmed and verified the damage. The dealership failed to inform me of 23” of body damage and was unwilling to take any responsibility but was willing to buy it back and sell the vehicle to someone else. Please know the dealership had published as well as the sales representative confirmed the vehicle had not been in any accidents. The dealership took the vehicle on a trade so one would think they knew of the body damage.
