My band and I are currently on the road on tour. We’re from east TN, so very far from home. We ended up breaking down in Ames and spent an entire day dealing with frustrating mechanics and bad fixes. On our way out of town, we broke down again. I found Joe’s on Google and gave him a call. We were 45 minutes away from him and he ran some diagnostics over the phone. Once he determined the issue, he packed up his car and came right over. Not only was he the first mechanic all day to properly diagnose our issue, he went above and beyond to remedy the shotty work of the previous mechanics. Honestly, one of the best mechanic experiences we’ve had on the road. There was a moment we didn’t think we’d make it home but we’re safely on the road and even got a text later on to make sure we were safe. Unreal prices, unreal service. Highly recommend.

Jim did the brakes on my Toyota. He did a great job and quick. Nice guy. He can come to you. I highly recommend!. 5 Stars.

Great service and professionalism. Kids traveling through Des Moines and car broke down. Got to them and repaired within an hour. Definitely recommend as a mobile mechanic in the area.
