I can’t say enough good things about this shop! This was hands-down the best auto repair experience I’ve ever had! I brought in two vehicles at once when other places either turned me away or couldn’t get to them for weeks. They got us in the same day, no problem. They took the time to explain everything clearly so my wife and I could actually understand what was going on! There was no jargon overload, just straightforward and helpful. While we waited, they even drove my wife and our three kids home so she wasn’t stuck hanging around with little ones—that kind of customer care is rare these days. On top of that, the final bill came in less than the original quote (who does that anymore?!), and the work was done right the first time. I brought my truck in after it wouldn’t start when I ran it out of diesel. The guys here figured out the problem quickly and got me back on the road — and didn’t charge me a dime. Honestly didn’t expect that at all. You don’t find many shops like this anymore. Trustworthy, helpful, and genuinely good people. Will absolutely be coming back for any future work and will be sending everyone I know their way. Highly recommend!

Kanselaar was helpful in a time of need. Transmission gave out on a long trip back to Cedar Rapids and had to pull into a gas station. Luckily, Kanselaar was right next door and came over with a code tester and helped us figure out the transmission was done. They said they would tow the vehicle and we could keep it in their lot until we figured out a plan. They gave us quotes for a new transmission and a used transmission and another option with a local wholesale. Every interaction I have had with them has been pleasant and kind, never pushy, just helpful beyond measure. Highly recommend Kanselaar, good, honest and helpful!

This place is awesome. Fast and friendly and honest. I called last minute to get a break light changed and it was more than that. They fixed me up in 10 minutes and didn't charge me anything. Great people highly recommend
