I brought my 2012 Jeep Liberty here with a very specific and simple goal: address an airbag warning light before selling the vehicle to a family friend for their teenage son. I was upfront on the phone about everything — the airbag light, a known bad negative battery terminal clamp, an A/C issue where it won’t turn off, and a TPMS light. I was told these were all straightforward items and to bring it in. What followed was one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve had. After inspection, I was presented with a roughly $1,700 estimate that felt completely disconnected from the original conversation. Instead of focusing on the airbag issue, I was told it was tied to an open recall — something I later verified independently — and even then was told it might not fix the problem. So the primary reason I came in was essentially brushed aside. The A/C issue they “couldn’t replicate” was demonstrated immediately when I asked them to simply try turning it off. Suddenly, they could see it. That alone didn’t inspire confidence in the thoroughness of the inspection. From there, the estimate became a laundry list: - Valve cover gasket replacement despite no visible leaks, no oil spots, and no burning smell - Mandatory A/C evacuation and recharge tied to that job - Replacing all TPMS sensors instead of diagnosing which one failed - An alignment that was never part of my concern - And a $75 “battery service” to clean terminals — something I had just done myself in minutes — on top of a $25 part for the clamp The approach felt less like diagnosis and more like upselling everything possible. When I declined the work due to cost and misalignment with what we discussed, I asked if the $175 inspection fee could be waived given the circumstances. The owner came out, wouldn’t make eye contact, didn’t introduce himself, didn’t shake my hand, and immediately became argumentative. There was no effort to understand my perspective or maintain any level of professionalism. In the end, they chose to charge the full fee. I have no problem paying for honest, competent work. What I experienced here was neither. If you’re looking for a shop that listens carefully, diagnoses accurately, and treats customers with respect, I would strongly suggest continuing your search.

I have taken two different cars of mine here and these guys have been honest, work fast, reliable, upfront about potential costs, and always explain everything in great detail about what exactly is going on!

From Mr. Lee to all the staff, they are very honest. The mechanics are professional, thorough, competent and knowledgeable. I brought a 2004 Lexus with a failed air conditioner compressor and they overcame many vendor issues to get the air conditioner repaired and the car back to me rapidly. Their prices are fair and very reasonable. I would certainly bring all of my vehicles to Lee's for any kind of maintenance.

I had a o2 sensor that was stuck in my g37 coupe. We called Lee’s and they told us to come right in. Everyone that worked there was extremely nice and they went above and beyond. They ended up having to do a lot more work then they had thought would have to be done. To get the stuck 02 sensor out . But had my car fixed and ready super fast. The price was good also. We will be using them again for sure. Great mechanic and sooooooooo friendly. Thank you

I've been going to Lee's for ten years now and hands down the best place around. Everything from engine blocks to transmissions and new tires for every vehicle, and commuter heap, I have owned. They've kept all my vehicles on the road for a very fair price and honest service. Always takes the time to answer any questions and lets you know if they see something preventative going on. I just happen to live close by and they've even given me rides when I've been on my own. I will not go anywhere else and always thankful for the great service!
