We had an exceptional experience at Express Oil Change in Woodstock (170 Village Center E) and cannot recommend this location highly enough. We brought in our 2021 Hyundai Palisade, believing it had a misfire. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted in a professional and courteous manner by Joey, one of the mechanics. He took the time to listen carefully to the engine and quickly suspected that the issue was something more serious than a simple misfire. Joey immediately involved the Service Manager, Brett Couvilion, who is clearly a highly experienced and knowledgeable mechanic. Within minutes, both Joey and Brett had a strong suspicion that there was an issue with a rocker component inside the engine. Based on their honest and informed assessment—and considering the vehicle’s relatively low mileage—we decided to have the vehicle towed to a Hyundai dealership for further inspection. Their diagnosis was later confirmed by Hyundai, which speaks volumes about their expertise and integrity. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the level of care and hospitality shown to my family. I was there with my father-in-law, wife, and son for a couple of hours while waiting for the tow truck. Joey, Brett, and another team member, Lexi, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They repeatedly offered water, ensured we stayed cool with A/C, and genuinely cared about making the situation easier for us. That kind of kindness and customer service is rare these days. This team demonstrated not only technical expertise but also honesty, professionalism, and genuine compassion. If we ever have an issue in the future, this will absolutely be our first stop. I’ve been coming to this Express location for about a year now, and the reason I keep coming back is because they’re consistently great. Adam and Rod have helped me several times, and they’re always kind, knowledgeable, and make me feel at ease when dealing with car issues. They genuinely care about their work and helping people, and it shows in how they communicate and take care of customers. They’ve definitely earned a long-term customer in me. I had the greatest experience at the Woodstock Express oil change location. My Technician Joey was very knowledgeable and kind , he knew I was having a problem with my vehicle and I felt frustrated. He took care of me in a timely manner , even educated me on the issue and got me back on the road in no time! Thank you Joey for your professionalism and kindness.

Express Oil Change has been my “go to” for oil changes, they have always gone above and beyond! Every employee there is fantastic, including Lexi who gave me some great information about my oil consumption with my car, she is a gem and didn’t rush until we felt safe and had all the information.
