Patrick, Raymond and his team are the best in the whole metro area. I drive from downtown Atlanta to them every single time my vehicle needs attention. They are honest, fast, clean & priced right. You can't want a better auto mechanic shop than JAR. They worked on my 2002 4Runner (water pump / timing belt / brakes / etc) and my LS430 (brakes, wheel bearings, alignment, oil changes). Always will be back.

This is my third positive experience with Japanese auto repair Mall of Georgia. I had my brake actuator replaced recently. Patrick took care of me once again. The job was done with no issues at the price that he quoted me. It's rare that I find a place and staff this professional. Gayle at the front desk, was very patient and gracious with me when I had some credit card issues with my bank. I have the utmost confidence and peace of mind that I have a place that I can trust and take my Toyotas if and when I have issues.

This is the third time I’ve gotten work done on my car at JAR and each time has been great. This time I got my AC repaired and it’s working like a dream! Communication is always top notch and they give information in a non condescending way since I don’t know a lot about cars which is always appreciated. My repair was completed quickly and I am so happy to have the AC fixed before the Georgia heat sets in!

Everyone was friendly and professional. I had an issue where the seat trim had separated and my dealership wouldn't even give a "ballpark estimate" (just for an idea) without a min $240 diagnostic fee. The guys at JAR took it back, gave me no hassles, shook their heads at the dealer, gave me a price and stuck to it. Parts (OEM!) were delayed, but that's unavoidable sometimes, and they kept me in the loop all the way through. The work was done efficiently, along with a little extra we discussed, and it was a beautiful thing to see it the way things were supposed to be once again Would definitely check them out again if the need arises!

I don't typically do reviews and auto repair shops, but I have to give this shop a review because of the quality of work that they do and the reasonable prices that they charge. I've taken my Toyota Tundra here several times to get work done and they always resolved the issue in a very short amount of time. Their quotes and their prices are within reason. Just the other day, my wife had a problem with a window on her Nissan. I was away at work and she decided to take her car to the Premier Nissan Mall of Georgia Dealership on Buford Drive. She informed them that she had an engine light on and all the widows periodically would not roll up or down all the way. They charged my wife a diagnostic fee of 185.00 for each identified issue, with other fees and tax that came to $381.00 (includes a charge for credit card usage for payment). As part of their assessment, they determined that only 1 window motor needed to be replaced and the O2 Sensor needed replacing. In addition, they provided quotes for replacing the tires and wheel alignment. The total repair for the two issues we brought the car in for came to approximately $1,450. If my wife would have agreed to the other suggested quotes for tires and the alignment, the total would be $2,234.02!!! That's ridiculous!!!! $862.26 for replacing one motor, when all the windows in her 4-door car was having problems. Thank goodness I was able to go with her to discuss their assessment. I advise my wife we need to take her car to this Japanese Auto Repair, which I've used many times before. After dropping the car off, Japanese Auto Repair informed us that they just simply reset the window control mechanism, which resolved all the problems with the windows not going up and down correctly. This was done at no charge ($0) to us. Next, they required the part (O2 Sensor) which they would have on hand the next day. Next day, as promised, they called and informed me that my wife's car was repaired and ready for pickup. I am very pleased with the service we get from this location and will send my wife, our kids and all our friends there for all future service activities on her car. If you want quality auto service performing your Japanese vehicle, then I recommend using Japanese Auto Repair!!! Just to conclude this review, I want to share what it cost to actually resolve the problems with my wife's car. The total repair cost from Japanese Auto Repair was $301, which was less than what my wife had to pay the Dealer's incorrect diagnostic fee ($380).
