My mom recently had her car break down after a coolant hose burst, causing it to overheat. Thankfully, she was able to make it to AutoZone, where an incredibly kind employee helped temporarily patch the hose with tape and add water so she could safely make it across the street to Jake Johnson's Garage. From the moment they received the car, the experience was outstanding. They sent a detailed digital inspection that included photos of everything they looked at, what passed inspection, what needed immediate attention, what could wait until the future, and additional notes. As someone who likes to understand exactly what's going on with a vehicle, I absolutely loved this level of transparency. It gave us confidence that they weren't just telling us what needed to be fixed—they actually showed us. They got the replacement part quickly, completed the repair, and even let the car stay in their lot an extra day until my mom was able to pick it up, which we greatly appreciated. It's hard to find an honest, professional, and transparent repair shop these days, but Jake Johnson's Garage definitely earned our trust. I have used this garage several times in twenty years. The staff is always friendly and very trust worthy. I took my Wife's car in to have a tire plugged. They were able to get me right in and told me that the object did not pierce the tire and that they were putting air in all four tires to make sure the PSI was correct. They told me there was no charge for this service. I have also taking my truck to have some suspension work done. They installed spacers in the struts to level my truck and add a 1.5 inch lift. The price was more than fair and I have never had an issue after the repair which was 5+ years ago. I will definitely be using their services again.

Went here years ago and loved them, I will no longer be recommending them. When scheduling my appointment I explained my ac wasn’t blowing cold air but it wasn’t the refrigerant, that I didn’t want to spend a lot of money because I would be trading it in. What they did was removed my refrigerant and filled it back up realizing that wasn’t the problem, $60 extra dollars, and they would need $500 to investigate further…. So $700 just to figure out the problem?? No thanks. What a waste of money!! Almost $300 for nothing! Service was done in July

Had a great experience with them! Very knowledgeable and fairly priced. Everyone I spoke with was polite and considerate. They worked quickly to solve my issue and get me back on the road!

I was worried about coming in today because I had an accident a while ago that I had to do some of my own repairs for. I didn't know what I was doing but I got the car running and have been driving with it for a year since the accident. For me the only issue I really had was my AC was out. I took the car in for an oil change and for them to check the AC. They did a courtesy check on the car which gave me some insight that was much needed and more in depth than other places that I have been. On top of that they were able to see one of the biggest problems with my AC. Now I just have to decide what I will do with my car and all the information I have. I will definitely come back! *edit* Have now come back a few times, they have been completely outstanding in their customer service and work on my car!
