Brought my Honda Pilot for repair on 06-01-2026. Needed a loaner car. They made it a big deal! Terrible service! Called Lou Sobh Honda. No problem. Lou Sobh Honda gave me a loaner car, very respectful and great service! If you have problems with Honda Carland, I highly recommend Lou Sobh Honda!

Honda Carland exceeded my expectations by turning an unfortunate incident into a positive customer service experience for me. All of their employees were very nice and accommodating during my visits to the service department. I am very happy with the results and strongly recommend their services.

Came in for an oil change at 330PM on Saturday 2/7. The service department closes at 5pm. I’ve had my car serviced here several times and let me be clear and honest the experience up until today was great. Friendly staff, usually come out to meet you at your car unless they’re all busy with clients then you walk in and they acknowledge you and let you know they’ll be with you i a moment. In the past I’ve booked appointments as well simply showed up and whatever service i wad getting done was done. Today i didn’t book an appointment because i simply wanted an oil change. I also need the current open recall on my 2020 accord addressed but was going to see if they had the part and when i could schedule an appointment. I’ve asked at every oil change I’ve had done since the recall opened and the advisors always told me there were only a few parts that come in and you essentially need to catch them at the right time, cool. TBH, i get it. It’s a recall, there are a lot more cars on the road needing the recall addressed than they have availability of parts, cool. The issue is how dismissive the gentleman i dealt with today was. He’d been dismissive in the past and i just made a point when i came to go to other advisors or simply avoid him or ask for the manager. No biggie and to be honest i didn’t care enough because there were other advisors who provided great customer experiences. My issue is when i come to your job don’t make me feel like I’m doing something wrong or asking you to do anything outside of your job description. Furthermore, if you don’t want to do your job, clients annoy you all the time, or you’re having a bad day maybe the customer facing role of being a service advisor isn’t for you. I don’t remember his name but he’s a blonde hair younger guy, Caucasian (not it’s not a race thing, just giving the description so you can avoid dealing with him), about 5’11-6’1. When you walk into service his is at the 2nd desk to the right of the 2nd door of the service department. When i walked in i said i was here for an oil change. The service in the past has always been good and left me feeling educated on what i needed done with my vehicle in an informative but no pressure manner. However today he asked if i had an appointment. I said no and he said he’d ask his manager if they could take me. He went and talked to the manager and came back and said no they didn’t have the time or the people…..and that was it. No, “would you like to schedule an appointment”, “go to the website and book an appointment”, “an hour and a half before we close isn’t really enough time for us to truly provide xyz type of experience”, nothing! Simply they didn’t have the time or the people. I too work in a customer facing profession and the aforementioned things are all basic entry level customer service. While we can’t do what you’re asking, here’s a solution. I drove 47 minutes to get here. And to be clear, i choose to do that because the service was great. Today after having this second negative experience with this gentleman o simply won’t come back. I didn’t ask well when can i come back, are there recall parts available , can i schedule time to come back for a transmission flush (something the manager recommended on my last visit), nothing….no additional conversation. Because to be honest if you don’t want my money or to provide customer service that’s ok. I’ll simply take my business elsewhere. No need for me to pry a conversation out of you or better yet teach you how to do your job. I could go further on this topic, but i wont, it’s long enough lol. My takeaway and hopefully the team at Honda carlands service department is simple….train the young man better, a lot better! If he can’t meet the mark of customer service and continues to provide lazy lackadaisical experience then maybe the conversation surrounding a better opportunity for him might need to be had. At minimum, if you go to Honda carland service department deal with ANYONE else aside from him.
