Peach State Auto Repair Mableton

I hope everyone else has a better experience than I did but I would recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to do anything with them. It started off great but that quickly went downhill after what I went in for was not fixed and the poor job that was done. I went in about my power steering, talked through what needed to be done to keep my car going for another month and a half while I looked for another car and that is what was agreed upon. 3 days later after spending $2000, my power steering light came back while I was driving on the highway and my wheel locked up. I had it towed back to this shop and all of a sudden now it’s $6000 to actually fix what was supposed to be already fixed. Now I’ve paid all this money for a car that I still can’t drive. I tried to get an understanding from the manager and there was absolutely no accountability or seeing how they could help correct what they did. I called twice to try and get in contact with the owner and still have not received anything. Please proceed with caution when dealing with them. This was for sure a very expensive lesson learned.

I sincerely hope that anyone who chooses to do business there has a better experience than I did. Having worked in the same industry for over 20 years, I know what good customer service and honesty look like. I understand that businesses need to schedule appointments and account for customers who may not show up. However, what happened in my case was unacceptable. I made an appointment and brought my vehicle in for a repair that was estimated to cost approximately $1,000. Instead of working on my vehicle as scheduled, I later learned—after calling to check on the status—that my vehicle had been pulled out of the bay so another customer could receive an oil change. That situation gave me the impression that my repair was never a priority and that there may never have been any intention to complete the work as promised. My concern is that the job may have been underbid and, as a result, pushed aside in favor of quicker, more profitable work. The most frustrating part is the lack of honesty and communication. I lost three days waiting on a repair that was never completed, time that I could have spent preparing my vehicle for opening day of business. Had someone simply been upfront with me from the beginning, I could have made other arrangements and avoided wasting valuable time. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of the level of customer service and professionalism I expected.

The experience at Peach State Auto Repair-Mableton today was extremely unacceptable. We went in and both of the men working the front desk was very sarcastic about any questions and concerns. We clearly asked the estimated wait time for an oil change. We were told estimated wait of at least 1hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours. No problem. They asked if they could text us. Absolutely. Very patiently we understood the time wait and decided to give it more time. 3- 4 hours later we come to retrieve the vehicles. The car was sitting. The vehicle hadn’t been moved and no oil change. Lack of communication and poor customer service is very unacceptable. Please don’t take your vehicle here. No communication skills and sarcasm galore. Will never return and suggest u don’t waste your time.

Very impressed with my experience at Peach State Auto Repair in Mableton and highly recommend this shop! Their honesty and concern for the overall safety of me and my vehicle, resulted in a discovery that the undercarriage of my car was covered in rust. I very much appreciated that instead of doing the requested oil change and then trying to "fix" a major problem with a 14-year-old vehicle, they informed me of the issue immediately.

Kyle and Thomas are super professional. One of the cleanest if not, the cleanest auto repair service shop. I was able to get an alignment with no wait. Went over recommendations with upfront pricing which I really appreciate. The waiting room has a nice set up and relaxing my kids enjoy the experience, which is really hard to say from an auto repair service shop. I would highly recommend service street specialist for anybody that needs an auto repair. Specially if you live in the area of Mableton, you should give them a try. You won’t regret it.
