This review is based on my personal experience and results with Ford Performance Specialists. It is in no way meant to demean or belittle the technicians or staff there. I took my 2011 F150 in based on A/C underperformance concerns and several HVAC related diagnostic codes. After having my vehicle for a month and racking up a few miles on it, I received a call from Doug that my vehicle was ready for pickup. The supposed fix was to add refrigerant. Well it's not rocket science to know that the A/C system is a closed system and that if it's low it leaking somewhere. I'm not ASE certified. But I visually found the leak myself. $519.09 To be hot again.

Great service, communication, and pricing from the crew here. Had my F150 4.6 towed here after a coolant issue. There was a wait but they made sure my truck was well taken care of and communicated often. Picked up the truck today and it's running better than it was before!

I've been referred to Doug and Ford Performance by a couple of other mechanics going back several years. I finally had him do a bunch of work on my F250. Everything was done within the timeframe he committed to and absolutely within the estimate range he provided prior to starting work. That's just how I expect all business to operate. What makes me tell everyone I know about this business is that they found a significant issue with my truck that was a mystery to previous mechanics and fixed it at a reasonable rate. They also corrected a death wobble that has been a challenge for other mechanics to address, found and corrected (for much less money than I expected) a coolant leak that was the primary reason for the visit, and did other work that went well above and beyond my expectations. Through all of this, Doug communicated proactively with me while also picking up the phone to answer questions every time I called. He did all of this for a first-time customer. As I told Doug after I picked up my truck: I hope I never have to see him again. But if my truck needs service again, it'll be taken exclusively to Ford Performance.

Exceptional service from a true Ford specialist! After getting broad estimates from a general garage that felt bland and didn't truly speak to my car's needs, I brought my 2008 Mustang Bullitt to Ford Performance Specialist—best decision I made. Doug and his team were upfront about their process and what my car may need. Doug sat down with me and didn't just list repairs—he explained in detail how each system works and why things failed. As someone who knows cars and tech, I appreciated his deeper, knowledgeable approach. After their inspection, I received a granular breakdown of needed repairs with a clear gameplan. Pricing was fair, reasonable, and completely transparent. My Mustang now runs better than when I bought it in 2012. Increased power, smoother drive, and no more "last leg" feeling. (did I mention the increased punch) I've decided to keep it and move forward with modifications, knowing I have a team that genuinely cares about the work. Don't let the negative reviews discourage you—Doug and his team deliver exceptional results. Highly recommend!

Doug and team were able to repair the ABS system on my 97 F150 after two other shops as well as a local Ford dealership couldn’t.
