Knight's Auto

I drove over an hour to this location because i was purchasing a vehicle in the area and wanted a pre-purchase inspection done. After reading all the positive reviews i decided to go with "Knight's Auto" and i couldnt have been any happier. Jeremy and his crew attended to me in a timely matter, were very thorough with the inspection, and explained everything i should know about the car and its maintenance. You could tell that this location really cares about the customer. Not to mention that the prices were better than all the competition. 10/10 recommend. The experience makes me want to drive an hour there just to be seviced by these guys. Thank you!

As a former Honda dealership tech myself who eventually burned out and switched careers, I recommend Knights Auto to everyone. Even my niece drives from Canton, GA, to go to Knights Auto. The owner operates the front with his daughter and wrenches on cars to help his crew at times. I can tell you firsthand that I've seen him in action and how he treats and talks to his customers while waiting for my car to be worked on. I heard him talking to one of his customers as he explained in great detail about her brakes. He explained that her brake light might be on due to low brake fluid, worn brake pads, an ABS system malfunction, the parking brake being engaged, defective sensors, a brake system leak, electrical issues, etc. He said he was going to measure the front and rear rotors to see if they could be turned if she didn't want to buy new rotors and if she had to buy new pads, but he didn't recommend a "pad slap" and then explained what a brake pad slap was. Once he stepped away and back into the shop, I asked the woman how long she had been coming here. She replied this was her first time, and I was stunned. He talked to her like she had been coming there for years and that they had known each other, but that's exactly how the owner is with his customers. I was there for a new starter on my S2000, and he walked out front and told me he wanted to show me something, and my heart sank, and I got nervous. He explained the aftermarket starter positive wire doesn't fit like the current OEM Honda starter that is on the car due to a tab that sticks out, and the stock OEM Honda starter has a notch for that tab to stick out so it doesn't spin and put stress on the cable when it's being tightened. He wanted to show it to me. I knew exactly what he was talking about, and I asked if he could Dremel or snip the tab so that it would work, and he said, “Yes, but I wanted to make sure you knew about it before we made any changes. I was impressed! He and his tech could have easily done that on their own just to get the car in and out and not said a thing, but they wanted to make sure I was aware of the change.

I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else but Jeremy. He is the best mechanic. He is always honest and doesn't tell you things that your car needs that it doesn't. His work is always exceptional and he does not over charge. If you are looking for a reliable, honest, mechanic then Jeremy is your guy.
