Alpha Automotive Locust Grove - a Main Street Auto shop

This time, I was only in for emissions testing and an oil change. However, per usual, the service was top-notch. I say "per usual," because Alpha Automotive in Locust Grove is the only place that I take my vehicle. The staff is always courteous and willing to help. I know that my issues will be properly diagnosed, and the staff acts with integrity. I don't have to worry about being quoted one price, only to find out something else, later. They don't try to upsell me. It's just square business and honesty about my actual issue. Not every business does business like that, these days, so I appreciate that Alpha does. That's why I will continue to do business with them.

I called Alpha Automotive about my issue with my vehicle and they said we can do the repair if you can be here by 11:00am. I said “no problem “! Got there checked in and within an hour the vehicle was fixed!!! They listen to what my issue was, Lindsey was courteous, the technician was on point and it wasn’t expensive at all. I’d recommend them to anyone living in the area if you want a timely repair and honest customer service. Thanks again Alpha!!!!

The ladies at the front desk were very polite and helpful. I had repairs done on my car and instead of doing the test right away, they decided to make sure that it was ready for testing to avoid charging me twice if it failed. The place has a very peaceful vibe as well. They are the epitome of Southern hospitality. I will be back every year for emissions testing.

I brought my 2007 Honda Civic to this shop on March 26, 2026, because I was experiencing vibrations during acceleration. After inspecting the vehicle, they told me I needed control arm replacements and noted a power steering fluid leak. I paid to have the control arms replaced. Less than three months later, on June 3, 2026, I returned for a brake inspection and was told that my CV axle boots were torn. What concerns me is that no issues with the CV axles or boots were mentioned during the original inspection. Since the control arm replacement, I have driven the vehicle fewer than 100 miles. I understand that CV axle boots can be damaged during suspension work. I’m disappointed that I am now facing another expensive repair so soon after having suspension work completed. I am posting this review so other customers are aware of my experience. I hope the shop will review the situation and work with me toward a fair resolution.
