Gary saved me from making a $6000 mistake. I took a 2018 Hyundai Sonata to his shop before making a purchase, and before even looking at the vehicle he knew the common issues with it and proved his knowledge accordingly. He offered no charge for his knowledge and service. On the way back the check engine light came on and it made us even more sure of his knowledge. I would think twice before worrying about a house turned mechanic shop. This guy knows his stuff, and I’m certain he’s knowledgeable enough to do some good— and above all— honest work.

I highly recommend Gary and Slinger Automotive. I couldn’t get my car out of reverse on an incline at 10:30pm in the dark and rain on a Saturday night on Memorial Day weekend. Gary was the only repair place I could reach and he drove out to my location within 20 minutes. He diagnosed the problem and made temporary repairs to get me back on the road in under 45 minutes for an incredibly affordable price. He was honest and very professional. He will be my go-to mechanic from this point forward.

I had a great experience with this mechanic. He fixed my axle, power steering hoses, and alternator, and everything has been running perfectly since. He’s very knowledgeable, efficient, and has some of the best prices I’ve come across. What really stood out to me was how quickly he responds to questions and how clearly he explains everything. It’s hard to find someone reliable and honest, but he definitely is! I’ll be coming back for any future work and highly recommend him to anyone needing a trustworthy mechanic.

Car started to crap out and when im 8 hours from my destination, no one was answering the phone, or calling back he was the only one to call me back and help. Also came to where I was staying to work on the car so my kids didn't get restless in the car waiting. Fair pricing for what the job usually costs and saved me when I was stranded and no one else was there. Truly thankful for the help and how he explained everything to me.
