Jim took good care of my baby, 1971 Chevelle. Took care of my brakes and suspension. However, his prices are incredibly high. He seems to be overwelmed with running his shop at this time in his life. The amount of hours he charges is at least double or more what they should be. If you want to go there, insist on a written estimate. I doubt he will. He has excuses for everything to why things take so long. Save your money. He will trash this review as he does with people who disagree with him. I wish him well but he is totally out of control when it comes to his hours billed. Stay away unless you want to pay a fortune for him to work on your car. I don't normally question a bill, but his labor charges are off the chart. Nothing personal, Jim. God bless.

Jim is super helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me decided on an engine for my project. Jim listened to my needs and did not try to over sell me on anything. Once all my parts was at his shop, it took him less then a day to get everything together for me. He communicated with me throughout the wait process. Super great guy and funny!

Brought my 67 Mustang here. Jim and Bill did excellent work rebuilding the engine and fixing other components. Jim kept me updated along the way with pictures and and text messages. Bill does great work and you can see they both care about getting your car running great again. Overall it’s a great shop with dedicated mechanics.

Promises, not performance. *****Caveat emptor***** If you have a lot of money ($100,000+) to spend, have no time limit, and like to hear the same canned excuses for why your car isn’t ready as repeatedly promised, this place is for you. If you are considering using this business, do your research first. Look at multiple sources. Look at public records. UCC filings. Bankruptcy filings. Civil tax liens. How many recent good reviews are there and for how big a job? Notice the common themes of the critical ones. Then read the tone of the owner’s responses, consistently disparaging clients who expressed dissatisfaction with their experience. My own recent horrible experience was very much like the others. But 10X worse. Maybe yours would be different. But be prepared for the same 5-6 tired responses to any problem you have, and then for personal insults. UPDATE: our car was picked up (unfinished) and trailered straight to a reputable shop in Marietta which has been here 40 years for inspection and evaluation of the work allegedly performed. They went through every charge for parts and labor. We discovered that the job done could have been done for HALF of what we paid. And the quality of work done was unremarkable. Now, we have to put at least $15,000 more in to fix all of the new leaks and unfinished work, including three of the initial things we brought the car in for 15 months (Window, lights and AC) Examples of work done before that needs to be redone now: Modify shift linkage to clear exhaust pipe transmission kick down linkage missing, replace transmission fluid leak from cooler line at back of transmission may need to have a new line made Parking brake cables need to be attached; cable is missing Both rear freeze plugs leaking Brake lights and turn signals not working (they worked when we brought the car in) Reseal both valve covers due to leaks Again, caveat emptor.

These reviews are laughable. This place should be shutdown by the BBB now! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My 442 went in here and over $50K later it has been a boat anchor in my warehouse with no ability to even drive it. I like that Jim is challenging the negative reviews like they are intentionally attacking the company, for no reason! My car was in better shape before taking it to the place, take my advice and look elsewhere. Jim, shut the company down, you are incompetent.
