Had a nail in my tire today (Sunday) around 5pm! Found A&J while googling places that were open near me due to my tire being completely flat and driving around on a spare. Gave this place a chance and I am so glad I did! Very friendly and affordable!! I was in and out in less than 10mins! I highly recommend!

They said they would only refund half if I took down this review... Thought it was sketchy they only accept cash app or cash. Was told they had a different size used tire that would work. Paid $70. Big red flag and safety liability was they didn't even check torque after putting on wheel and just sent me on my way. This is my wife's vehicle and as a former diesel/Chrysler tech I double check everything. Found they didn't even balance the tire after mounting and the tire is 7 years old and dry rotted and now makes lots of road noise. Needless to say I still need a decent tire but will go elsewhere. Wasn't even going to waste my time trying to get them to make it right. You are playing Russian roulette with your safety going here for a used tire. Update 4/21/26: Bought another used tire in near new condition for $65 at my usual shop and kept the bad one I got from this place. The other shop's guy also found it had loads of flat spots which explains the road noise I was hearing. I called them up and asked if I could return the tire they sold me and get a refund. They said they would only refund half if I took down this review...

Check your tires before you pay this shop a single dime! A & J Tires on Meriwether St is using standard "No Refunds" policies to dodge accountability for dangerous mistakes, putting everyone on the road at risk. They recently installed the completely incorrect tire size, making the tires mismatched on the same axle of my daughter's Kia. When the safety hazard was pointed out, the employee or so-called tire technician at the shop literally tried to argue that the vehicle is "supposed" to ride completely unevenly just to cover up a bad install and pocket the cash. Make sure you look at your tire walls before driving off their lot so you don't get scammed.

Called right after closing with a tire problem and these guys actually came back to the shop to help us out. Got us fixed up fast and were super cool about it. Seriously appreciate the help — great service.

I would not recommend buying from this place. Within 24 hours of purchasing a tire, it went flat. When I returned, they refused to issue a refund. I then took the tire to another shop, where I was told it was manufactured in 2013 and should never have been sold due to its age. They charged $80 for an unsafe, outdated tire. Because the tire was flat and the shop was a long distance away, I had to purchase a new tire from another tire shop. After that, I returned to this location to take the replacement tire they had originally offered, since a refund was not an option. However, they still did not have the correct tire size available. At that point, they told me I could come back later in the week once they had the right size, which did not work for me. Selling a tire this old is extremely unsafe. When I raised my concerns, the only response I received was that it “could have been my rim,” which was dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, this was a very disappointing and unsafe experience.
