Kaotic Speed

I have to give major props to Kaotic Speed and Shane—he’s the man! I brought my supercharged 03 Corvette Z06 in because it was running poorly due to a bad tune and a fueling issue that was causing it to run stupid rich. Shane took the time to hear me out, got right to work, and pinpointed the fueling problem in no time. After he fixed the tune, my Z06 was right! Shane’s expertise is impressive, and the other guys at the shop were just as busy, working hard on every project in sight. Kaotic Speed is definitely the place to go if you want your car taken care of by a skilled team. Shane and the crew got it going on!

I purchased a 1972 chevelle convertible built by kaotic speed a really beautiful vehicle turns alot of heads. I ship the car to Phoenix Arizona. I was told I could drive this car on arrival to Los Angeles upon arrival. Not after receiving this car its been problem after problem bad tuning, transmission not shifting wilwood brake caliber broke off spaghetti wiring under the dash fire waiting to happen front-end suspension needs work. The car shorted out on me while driving just shop after shop and it's been costing me since it's arrival. I paid to much money for a project. So I have to go through this whole car to get it right and I have all receipts. This last issue was this x pipe kaotic speed put together it was a trashy set up with bad welds and bad flow. Who ever heard of a x pipe in the back end of car air could not even get through properly causing the car to sound like glass pack exhaust lol. So I had to fix that. It's really too much to mention but I would never take my cars to this shop for repairs especially engine swaps or buy a vehicle from them without a complete inspection.

Shane and Shannon are great people! I have known Shane for over 18yrs, he’s never been anything but honest with me and has worked on several of my cars with great results. When it comes to anything LS related he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Cars are mechanical and anything can happen however I always trust Shane to stand behind his work and that’s why I choose Kaotic Speed!

This review is for the shop in the Kenwood business complex in north Fayetteville GA. I wouldn't let these folks put air in my tires or work on my son's tricycle. I paid $7500 for them to put an engine I already had in my tahoe. They did supply remained heads, a cam kit, headers, and they claim to have installed a valley plate but it's been leaking oil from it since they first gave it back and it doesnt look like it's ever been removed since the factory installed it. The truck had to go back 3 times on a wrecker for the truck not having enough power to be safe to drive, missing transmission bellhousing bolts, and then oil leaks they charged me to fix and a subsequent broken flexplate from the bolts they neglected to install holding the engine to the transmission. I had to buy another flexplate since their work broke the original one and i bought a better, more epxensive flexplate. The new flexplate is now damaged because the installer was never trained to work on vehicles and the owner refuses to fix any of their poor work. Vehicle still has an awful oil leak from a part they claimed to have replaced on my invoice. Owner has claimed harmonics are to blame since the first time the truck came back on the wrecker with only a single loose bolt holding the transmission in when the truth is they didn't install any of it by the book or using any torque specs or loctite or we wouldn't be here currently! If you don't know anything about mechanical stuff, they're gonna take you for a ride and as much money as they can squeeze out of you. Avoid at all costs!
