Grease Monkey

I actually went to the facility twice on the same day. The first time they told me the weight was gonna be 45 minutes and told me to come back if I didn't mind and they would take care of me quicker. I did return about two hours later and got right in and was finished very quickly. The technician had a hard time clearing the maintenance prompt on the screen of the car, but we worked it out together. They were all very respectful and amicable. The whole experience was delightful.

I had a very good experience at Grease Monkey for my car emissions inspection. The service was quick, smooth, and professional. I especially want to appreciate Chris for his warm, welcoming attitude and excellent customer service. He was friendly, respectful, and made the whole experience very comfortable. People like him really leave a positive impression. Highly recommended!

The customer service was great and they moved quickly to get me in and out, but sometimes “faster” is not always “better”. They completed the necessary services, but left my car a mess after changing out my cabin air filter. I always come with my car clean and leave with the passenger floor area in a mess. The items that are pictured were neatly placed in my glove compartment prior to the service. Unfortunately, the same thing happened at another Grease Monkey location. I don’t necessarily see the value in going if I’m being upcharged for an air and cabin filter anyway. I’m not sure if I’ll be back…

The only thing g that was good about this service was the oil change itself was quick. They did not ask me what type of oil I wanted to use, they did not show me the old filter after they changed the oil. No comments about oil level, or condition. When it came time to pay, they did not give me a price or any price options from the beginning of the interaction. When I gave them my card to pay, they took it and walked into an office out of site, which I didn't like. But then they had some kind of system error and left me sitting in my car for nearly 10 minutes with no update. I had to physically wave them down and ask. Finally offered to pay cash, but they could not accept my 25$ off coupon. Terrible experience on the customer service side. Im assuming my oil got changed correctly, time will tell.

I wish I could make this up. 3 weeks ago I go for an oil change and air filter change for my 2019 Chevy equinox. Should have been an easy visit. I left and my car felt weird. Struggling to accelerate, loud noise outside the car, and hissing I could hear through the AC. I take it back a week later, tell them exactly what's happening and they look at the car, tell me "oh someone didn't tighten the filter" they tighten it up and send me on my way. It still feels off ...my engine light comes on now. I've moved out of the area now. Run the code P1101....AIR FLOW. I Open it up myself, no filter. NO FILTER. so now I figured out what happened. They loosened it, prepping to put the filter in, but never did it, nor did they check to see if the filter was even there before tightening things in. I paid for NOTHING and this could have damaged my car. I knew it felt off, I had videos and I explained clearly why didn't they check??? How can I get my money back? I paid for an air filter...they had 2 times to have someone check, and it was missed. Another off thing, I was told I needed a transmission fluid change....I got one a year ago and haven't even put on 5k miles let alone 50k. I have a receipt for that one too, but it was never recorded that the service was done on my car. How is that possible. So now I'm wondering...was it done? If it was, why isn't it documented in the system. If it wasn't, did I pay for a service they didn't do? I'm a bit frustrated to say the least.
