Vick Tires

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH HIM. HE IS A CROOK I’d honestly give a zero if I could. Me and my husband had a tire given by a friend for free and we asked if they could put it on. He claimed the tire was dry rotted so he showed us a used for $68 (which is high). They ended up talking us into two used tires for $135. They put both tires on, we left to go to the citi trends down the street and when I came out the store the right front tire was going flat already. We returned and asked them what happened, they took the tire off and looked and CLAIMED the rim was bent and needed to be repaired and did a seal and said to return in a couple of days after Christmas to get it repaired for $130. So we left and came back WITH NO plans to pay since we had no problem with our rim before. So we come back and Vick suddenly has left to Africa and there’s another guy there helping while he’s gone who pulls the tire off and then says the rim has a hairline crack in it and to bring it back again and they’ll fix it for $80 instead. ABSOLUTELY NOT. We will be getting it repaired but not with them. OUR TIRE BEFORE HAD A ROCK IN IT AND HELD AIR BETTER BEFORE THE FIX, now it holds no air at all. SMH OH AND HE CLAIMED THAT YOU CANNOT CRACK A RIM WHEN PUTTING A TIRE ON WHICH IS A LIE. WHEN WE CALLED HIM ABOUT IT TODAY HE HUNG UP IN MY FACE INSTEAD OF DISCUSSING IT. SCAM, CON MAN. He doesn’t deserve to have a business. MIND YOU THIS WAS TWO DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND WE HAVE 5 daughters.

I had a tire that needed to be mounted on wheel, i had already removed from car and brought it here. I asked Vick (the owner) how much it would be to mount tire on rim. He said $20, i told him thats fine.. upon him changing it he says it needs a new valve stem, i say okay change it. He said thats $30, im thinking okay $3 extra on $20 plus tax.. sounds about right when i go to pay he charges me $50. I ask him why is it $50 now he said $30 for valve stem. HE REALLY CHARGED ME $30 FOR A VALVE STEM.. he was rude, he rushed me and called me a crackhead when i returned due to the tire pressure sensor fault light on. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR BUSINESS HE NEEDS TO BE SHUTDOWN

My son purchased two used tires from him for $95 (could have gotten NEW ones from Walmart.com for $59 a piece but hey). This was one of the tires after a week (see pictures). Lugs on so tight, can’t even remove them. Now have to pay over $100 for roadside assistance! Craziness. My son didn’t know to check reviews but he learned. I had a bad encounter with this past several years ago. Like the other review stated TAKE THEM TO COURT!

Pulled in off the interstate because I have a nail in the side of my tire. The guy that approached me as I pulled in quoted me $40 to patch the nail when I told him that that was a little much. The man working there was very rude and as I pulled off it sounded ed as if he was yelling at 70s at me.

If you think $70.00 is fair for patching two nail holes in the same tire, then do business with Vick. If you don't then find another tire shop. Update...Upon closer inspection it looks as if Vick himself over inflated the tire that he just repaired. I won't be going back, further more anyplace that I can enter a review I will be.
