J&L TIRES SHOP

It was 45 degrees cold , around 2am , I had one flat tire in the highway stranded with no spare, I taught I was lucky to find a 24/7 hour tire shop named J&L tire shop. Called J&L tire shop a Hispanic man answered and he told me it would cost me $130 to change just one tire , I asked him why is the price so high and he said it’s because it’s 2am and it’s an emergency for me so therefore the price is different. I ended up towing my car to my house, instead of paying $130 for a used tire that I would have to take uber or Lyft to J&L tire shop then take another one back to my car in the highway, and mind you I would have to do the replacement myself. I think he tried to take advantage of my situation instead trying to help me. This is Absolutely insane & Unprofessional at best. J&L Tire Shop is a SCAM , Unreliable , Wicked & Ruthless, can’t count on this tire shop in times of emergency . Do better for your customers & community for tomorrow.

I called up here to get a quote for a tire rotation. They weren’t answering then they call me back and quoted me $10 a tire. When I get there the man that was there said it would be a hour wait. I was willing to wait. When it was my turn the man said $15 a tire and I told him I just called and was told that it’s $10 a tire. He went and I guess contacted someone about the price and then he still told me it was $15 a tire. I just wasted my time waiting for this service and all the other tire shops are literally closed in this area. Thanks a lot for nothing smh

Always a pleasure to deal with. He is always honest and upfront. We’ve purchased used tires and new tires and as well and he went out of his way to make sure the brands matched (being they were purchased separately) and prices were amazing. My son just got his first car and glad we found him :) Once my other boys get their cars, this is exactly where they will go! It’s great to have a person I can trust and will always support his business!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

they are slimy business people . I called them while I was at another tire shop. I explained to the guy over the phone that I needed a new tire, but a stud is broken and I asked him will you also change the stud. He told me yes and I asked three times before I got off of the phone if everything is going to be When I buy the tire. His exact words “Oh yeah, as long as you find a tire” . So I proceeded to leave the tire shop that I was at drove there was 20 minutes away from my location. I got there and the guy he doesn’t speak English very well so I don’t know if that’s the reason things were miscommunicated on their end. When I pulled up, I told him I’m here for the new tire and I asked him it’s gonna be 110 he said yes 110 and I said OK well did they tell you that I need a stud replaced? He said OK OK still 110 right but he directed me to the back of the shop. That that is where the mechanic is and he didn’t tell me I was gonna see a mechanic. He just told me pull up to the back so I went to the back and a guy started working on my car. He changed all four studs. I didn’t know he was gonna do that. When he was done, he told me the mechanic said it’s gonna be $100 I said but I didn’t get a new tire. He said oh they told you you were gonna get a new tire I said yes and he was like I will respect it and then proceeded to say oh you can just give me $80 for the work that I did. I’m like no I want a new tire cause that’s what I agreed to. So he told me to go to the front where the tire person went so I came to the front and they started talking and they both told me 110 and I asked the tire guy I said OK so is this a new tire or not and he told me yes, out of his own mouth so he then told me to pay the Mechanic I paid him 110 and when I left something told me to check my tire so I’ll check the tire. It was still the same tire that I walked in with. So I went back talked to the manager over the phone and he was saying that the tire shop in the mechanic shop are two different entities, but his tire guy and the mechanic gave me a price so if it’s two entities, why are they speaking to each other. I ended up getting $30 back, but I still did not leave with a tire that I agreed to have put one before even come into the shop. I will never give them a dollar and I don’t think you should either.

My daughter had a flat and we needed a tire at 10PM. I thought I was as going to get scalped, but I needed a tire. Went to J&L and they were courteous, professional, clean and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be using J&L again.
