We have used this place since my dad worked for the city. I was a teenager just starting to drive. Years later I brought my daughter up here to look for new tires for her car. Her car was shaking pretty roughly at 55 to 60 mph. We stopped by to see if they could check her tires. We were also interested in a quote for new tires.. And to see if they could be balanced or rotated to help with the shaking until we decided to purchase new tires. I told the lady from the front desk, my husband was out of town and I just wanted to make sure my daughter’s car OK to drive. The front desk lady was very short with us. She told us it would be a while before they could get to it because they were pretty busy. It didn’t look busy at all, but We were willing to wait. We told her the type of vehicle. She said “ we Probably don’t have those in stock ”. She then proceeded to lead us outside so she could take a look. She ignored any request for getting the air checked or having them take a look at the tires and just kept repeating we need new tires and she walked around the vehicle . Which we already knew. She said there was no point in rotating them because they were so thin. I understood that and was fine. But again, asked the lady if someone could take a look to check them to make sure they were safe enough to drive a little longer. ( since she had already told us, she did not have the tires we needed in stock) I asked her this multiple times. She would ignore the question and repeat “well you need new tires. “ She then walked inside, Said she would look up some quotes. We left . Not even a half mile down the road we pulled into Mike’s tire shop. As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted by a very friendly fellow. We told him the problem. He asked if he could take it for a test drive. He drove a mile down the road came back said we definitely need new tires but they would take the tires off and check them. I asked for a quote. He gave me a quote for some they had in stock. We purchased them that day. :) We will be returning to have the shocks and bearings replaced as well. Thank you so much for the quick and kind service we received at Mike’s tire shop. We will no longer waste our time with tires n wheels.
