My car broke down and, luckily, I was very close to J&L. It turned out to be the alternator, so I had the car towed there. They had already ordered the parts based on our conversation before the car even arrived, which helped get the repair started immediately. They got the car repaired quickly, exactly as promised, and kept me informed throughout the process. The team was professional, honest, and reasonably priced. I never felt like they were trying to upsell me or overcharge me, and they stand behind their work. Nobody enjoys unexpected car repairs, but if you need a trustworthy mechanic, I highly recommend J&L. I’m very glad I found them, and they’ll be my first call for any future repairs.

I have a Ram2500 Diesel engine and I went to a local gas station and they had water in the fuel. When I first call J & L to help me out Greg picked up the phone and answered all my questions fast and efficiently. When I Arrived at the shop I met the manager Javier. Javier and his team are a delight to work with they understood my situation and attacked it properly. First he told me he would keep a sample of my bad fuel on the side for me. Then also promised me an efficient fix in 1-2 days. A minor curve ball when my torque was damaged as well. Without panic he then said give me an hour to get the part and see if in can get it all done by 6pm before they close. That effort with minimal time left in the day is what you want from your mechanic. He will forever get my business and he was extremely professional. He has made a customer for life & special Thankyou to all the guys at J & L AUTO SERVICE!

I've been looking for an honest repair shop for a long time. Javier and his team were fantastic. It's not often you take a car into a shop thinking it has a problem and find a shop willing to say "nothing is wrong". They not only took the time to do a thorough review of my car but also explain why some of the things I was seeing were happening and why they were normal. I finally found my go-to shop. Would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone!

Javier and all the guys at J & L run an honest and dependable shop. We've had our 1998 Jeep Cherokee repaired there on a few occasions and recently had a water pump issue with our 2015 Toyota Sienna Van on the south side of Atlanta on a Saturday. Javier met my husband at the shop to open the gates so we could leave it for service. He also opened the shop so my husband could wait in the air conditioning for me to pick him up! These guys are the best.

Had a fried out Alternator which also fried my battery. They were able to get the vehicle diagnosed and fixed in half a day. They communicated exactly what the repairs were & what parts they were getting.( for my 13 year-old vehicle I appreciated that they didn’t get the most expensive parts on the market knowing the age, condition & realistic remaining life of my vehicle). They mentioned some other potential repairs &!included videos of what needed to be done, but did not pressure me to complete these repairs. I’ll certainly come back next time I need service.
