Grand Hyundai of Canton Service Center

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Grand Hyundai in Canton, GA. My wife's 2022 Hyundai Tucson developed a cylinder misfire, and since the vehicle is still under the factory warranty, we brought it to the dealership expecting a thorough diagnosis and professional service. After keeping the vehicle for five days, the dealership presented us with a list of recommended services that appeared completely unrelated to the issue. We were told we needed a cabin air filter replacement for $130, an engine air filter replacement for $130, an air box lid replacement for $260, and a 30,000-mile tune-up for approximately $600. The most concerning recommendation was the air box lid replacement. We were told the lid was damaged and allowing excess air into the engine, which they suggested could be causing the misfire. The problem is that the air box is not damaged at all, and a supposedly damaged air box lid is not a credible explanation for a cylinder misfire. This immediately raised concerns about whether the vehicle had been properly inspected in the first place. It felt less like a diagnostic appointment and more like an attempt to sell maintenance services. Not only were the recommendations questionable, but none of them addressed the original concern that brought us to the dealership. We declined all of the recommended services and still had to pay $230 for a diagnostic fee, despite receiving no meaningful explanation for the misfire and no confidence that an actual diagnosis had been performed. As a customer, I expect a dealership service department to accurately identify problems, honor warranty obligations, and provide honest recommendations. Instead, we were presented with a list of expensive maintenance items that appeared unrelated to the issue at hand and left with more questions than answers. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership's service department. If you bring your vehicle in for a warranty concern, be prepared to carefully scrutinize any recommendations and ask detailed questions before approving any work.

I met with Janet Baker at Grand Hyundai in Canton GA regarding an Infiniti QX60. I’ve purchased over 20 vehicles in the last 10 years and I must say Janet is one of the best sales person, I’ve encountered. Within 48 hrs, Janet and I agreed upon a fair price for the vehicle. My wife’s Hyundai Tucson had some lights come up on the dash, I called Grand Hyundai of Canton and spoke to Madison. We made an appointment and drop the car off. Madison was very helpful in explaining the process and keeping us notified as the car went to the service department. They were very busy and Madison stated that it was going to be 2 to 3 days before they could even diagnose what was going on I called her for an update and said we were next in line. She went to her service manager and got the technician to look at the car. And gave us a couple of different things it could be. They sent us a quote of what it would be. We approved it and they fixed the car. We will definitely use Grand Hyundai of Canton again

Mandi and the whole team are great. They always ensure I receive the service I request and need to keep my vehicle in top shape. Thanks for the professional and courageous people in the service department.
