On Saturday, May 16, 2026, I brought my 2019 Ford Escape to Southside Auto Pro to have my Canister Purge Valve replaced because the Check Engine Light was on. The staff & mechanics were so polite and hospitable, and the mechanic who worked on my car was very knowledgeable, professional and caring. My car is running much better than it did before I brought it in to get the Canister Purge Valve replaced; and my Check Engine Light is off. I strongly believe that the mechanic went above and beyond when replacing the Canister Purge Valve. Also, the final cost was fair and reasonable. The team is southside auto pro went above and beyond to get me in and out in the same day. They also found some additional issues that were going on with my truck that nobody has been able to solve and they were able to take care of them for me. I scheduled a 9:00 AM appointment with Rell for a diagnostic on my car due to a possible suspension issue. During our phone call the day before, he confirmed the time and said he and his team could drop me back off at work after I brought the car in. I left work to be there on time at 9:00 AM as agreed. When I arrived, he was not there. After I called, he said he was about 10 to 15 minutes away due to an accident. When he arrived, he directed me to park my car in the back of the shop in a crowded area filled with many other vehicles. There was no clear organization or process for where customers should go or how vehicles were being handled. When we spoke, there was no introduction, no acknowledgment of our previous conversation, no eye contact and no professionalism in the interaction. He asked for my name, phone number, and email on a sticky note. When I asked about pricing and what the process would be, that is when he asked me what we were doing today, as if we had not already discussed the diagnostic the day before. At that point, the lack of preparation, communication, and professionalism made me uncomfortable leaving my car there. I chose to leave and take my business elsewhere. I initially wanted to support a local business, but based on this experience, I could not move forward with service

I am really impressed with the service I received here, it was 4:00 pm on a Thursday, I brought my Escalade in, my check engine light was on, it was the engine oil pressure sensor. Dealership said they would have to keep the car 48 to 72 hours, Tyrell took care of me in a couple of hours. He was very patient and knowledgeable. This will be my mechanic from now on. Great service!!! I waited a while to have my head gasket repaired but it was worth the wait. It's been going on a month now and no issues since they fixed my problem. I couldn't be more thankful for the job they did. Thank you guys. I know who I'm taking my car to for repairs
