Brought my vehicle in for tire balance and rotation, and was sold on the recommended fuel service. I took pictures of the arrangement of my tires prior to the rotation and only two tires were moved - the other two remained in the same location. This was corrected at no cost the following day but makes me question the work being done. How many other vehicle leave without the tires actually being rotated? Was my fuel service actually complete or did Firestone make an easy $120 by not completing the service I entrusted them to complete?
Even though this was corrected (not with a refund), I have lost all faith in Firestone entirely and will not trust them with completing work on my vehicle again.

Thankfully the crew at Plantation Firestone took exceptional care of me and I knew I was treated with fairness and respect for my time and money. They went above and beyond by dropping me off at work while working on the car, called me to explain the repairs necessary and make sure I approved. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy a service. I am confident my money was well spent. I will be returning for a follow up tire replacement asap because I was quoted the best price in town. These guys treated me like family and that’s hard to come by these days.

I have been dealing with this auto repair shop for over a year for the same ongoing issue. I originally brought my vehicle in to have the alternator repaired, yet the repair did not last at all. I was unknowingly driving solely off the battery.
I worked directly with Trevor, trusting him with my vehicle. That trust was misplaced. Every time I returned to the shop, the problem was repeatedly blamed on something else, despite me clearly stating on multiple occasions that the alternator was the issue. I was ignored and redirected to unnecessary “repairs” instead of the actual problem.
I have spent over $1,200 at this shop, only to end up with the exact same issue I had when I first came in. After months of being given the runaround, I began researching this business and discovered that the most honest reviews were on Yelp. Unfortunately, many of those reviews describe situations identical to mine. I never imagined I would become one of their victims.
I cannot help but question whether this treatment was influenced by me being a woman, a woman of color, or simply someone trusting and trying to get her car properly repaired. Either way, this is unacceptable and unfair—not only to me, but to anyone who has done business with this shop.
After taking my vehicle to a licensed, reputable repair shop, I finally received a proper diagnosis: a bad alternator, exactly as I had stated all along. The mechanic informed me that the alternator appeared to have never been touched, which directly contradicts the invoices and services I was charged for by this repair shop.
When I requested a refund, partial refund, or replacement of the alternator, Trevor stated that he “never said he wasn’t willing to fix the vehicle.” However, instead of actually addressing the issue or honoring the repair, he passed me off to Kenny, who claimed to be the manager. Kenny repeatedly avoided responsibility and used his wife’s passing or illness as an excuse for not resolving the situation.
While I sympathize with personal loss, it does not excuse unethical business practices or the situation they put me in. Kenny was rude, disorganized, and unprofessional, and at no point did the shop take accountability for the faulty repair or the money I paid.
In the end, my alternator was completely rotten, I paid in full, and I was still robbed of my money. This business showed a complete lack of professionalism, honesty, and basic human decency.
Because of this, I am pursuing legal action against this repair shop for negligent repair, misrepresentation, and failure to follow proper automotive repair procedures
