Carlito and his team at Orlando Hybrid Auto Repair are incredible. He was the first and only mechanic who actually explained why our 2013 Toyota Prius head gasket was leaking and what the proper fix required. Every other shop we called gave vague answers and higher quotes, but Carlito took the time to educate us, whether we decided to repair our car there or not. As a business owner, I really appreciated that level of honesty and transparency. The repairs were done on time, on budget, and with great communication throughout. He even saved our old parts so we could inspect them ourselves and took photos during the process. The whole experience was simple, straightforward, and professional. We’ve found our shop from now on, Orlando Hybrid Auto Repair is the real deal.

Amazing experience! I could not recommend this place more! Toyota charged me almost $200 for a diagnostic and was trying to charge me over $2000 to have my front hubs and bearings replaced which is what they said was wrong. $900 for parts and $1000 for labor plus tax. So I turned to Google and found this shop. They picked up the phone on the first ring and text me my quote in maybe 5-10 minutes. They answered all of my questions right away, offered options of all different brands of parts when I asked, and explained their warranty on repairs. Then let me bring my car in same day to have it looked at! They did a full diagnostic on the wheels for me and I was able to watch them test all of them. Turns out the front bearings didn’t even need to be replaced! The noise was coming from ONE of my REAR bearings. Carlos brought me out and let me spin all of the wheels myself to hear the noise and they also let me go inside the car on the lift while they spun them so I could hear the issue myself. I appreciated so much how they involved me. They got me a new quote for the single rear bearing right away and explained my options to me very clearly. I paid a deposit, they order the part (I chose OEM the exact same part Toyota was going to give me) and they got me in the very next day. Carlos opened the box in front of me so I could see it was in its original packaging and let me inspect it before they installed it. The job was done very swiftly and their office is comfortable to wait in. They informed me that the other rear bearings bolts were loose but that they tightened them for me. I also ended up getting my oil changed with them which was again so quick and painless. My Prius drives like a dream, the terrible noise is completely gone. I will be bringing my car back for all services and have told everyone I know about the shop. They were so kind and thorough. And the amount I saved is astronomical. I will never be stepping foot in a Toyota service center again.

I've been getting my car maintenanced and serviced with Orlando Hybrid for over 6 years, & my life would have been a lot easier if I would have found them before then. There is only one mechanic that I would ever let touch my car or my children's cars. There's only one mechanic that I would refer any of my friends or family to. Carlos and his family are honest and they provide quality service. Top notch, top tier. i challenge anyone reading this review to show me a better mechanic in Orlando. You won't be able to. So save yourself the headache and the hassle and just go see my boy, Carlos. Orlando Hybrid keeps me & my family on the road safe and worry free.

I found my mechanic, and I can’t be more happy about it! My beloved 2014 Prius was having problems with the head gasket. I was quoted over 40% more of what this place quoted me. They did a great job and they didn’t took long. Very professional, knowledgeable and meticulous mechanic. I recommend it!

Found this shop after searching the Orlando area for a trusted mechanic. I have college student in the area and needing engine work for their vehicle. Read the reviews and saw photos on the IG page. They were excellent communicating about the estimate, repairs, and gave updates during the process. This was an involved job due to it being a blown head gasket. Happy to report the car is back on the road and going strong! I will use them again for any future service! If you are in need of car service, don’t hesitate to call and get an appointment!
