I highly recommend Effective Transmission in Orlando, Florida for anyone needing brake repair or truck service. I brought in my 1995 Chevy K3500 dually for a brake issue. They performed a full brake inspection, found the front brake pads needed replacement, confirmed the rotors were still good, and correctly diagnosed the rear dually drum brakes being out of alignment, even with automatic adjusters. Freddie, the owner, expertly corrected the rear drum brake alignment, and Felix handled the front brake pad replacement. These guys clearly understand older Chevy trucks, heavy-duty brake systems, and dually axles. The entire job was completed in about 2 hours, including waiting for parts. After the service, the brakes perform exactly as they should. My trucks lose money when they’re down, and Freddie’s efficient service minimizes downtime while maximizing smart, strategic maintenance planning. I’ll be bringing all my truck service work back to Effective Transmission.

I came here for diagnosis for my rear dually suspension vibration after bumps and broken interior door handles. Freddie quickly diagnosed the rear to be just my shocks. After a short wait on parts to be delivered, they got right to my repairs. Upon test drive I realized I should've done this much sooner! It was very costly effective. I have much more to do to my truck, but I need to budget for repairs. Freddie didnt try to upsell me or push any repairs I dont need at the moment. Ill be back every couple weeks to keep checking off the to do list on my old chevy. Thanks Freddie!
