All Masters Transmissions

Where could I begin. I was introduced to willy from a friend of mine. I got a quote from willy about replacing my transmission for $1750. He then sends a tow truck to pick the car up and I paid the $1750 up front so he can get the transmission. Then I was told it could be done in 2 to 3 business days. 2 to 3 business days turned into 3 weeks. With barely no communication from willy. After waiting 3 weeks he gives me a call saying your car is ready. I pulled up to his shop and I looked in my car to see coffee in my cup holder, my glove box popped open because I locked it before giving it to him, and my center console box open with my things on the floor. I let him know that someone went through my car and he gives me excuses. I took a test drive to see if my issue was resolved and it wasnt. He even rode with me and felt the problem I was having before. He proceed to tell me i might need to change my spark plugs and coil which I did three months ago. So he tells me bring the car back so he can put it on the computer. I brought the car on a Monday, He started the computer test when I came to pick it up on Thursday. Come to find out my car is at his house. So at the end of the day, Mr. Willy had my car close to a month with issue not resolved. Still paid him for his services and excuses. Spent close to $5k between his service and rentals, lyfts, tolls and parking at work. No professionalism what so ever.

My mom had an issue with her car and Nissan quoted her over $1000. Willy was incredibly transparent about the problem, explaining everything in detail and walking my through the necessary repairs. Honesty is one of the most important things I look for in a mechanic, and Willy exceeded my expectations. He didn’t try to upsell unnecessary services—just straightforward, high-quality work. My car is running perfectly now, and I truly appreciate the professionalism and integrity of this shop. Highly recommend!

I’ve waited a week before posting a review. I dropped off my truck at All Masters Transmission to get my transmission rebuilt on 5/16. I was quoted over the phone and in person, the job would cost $1800. Then I received a call on 5/19, stating that there was more damage to the transmission than expected. I would have the option of paying an additional $150 on top of the $700 I had already paid, and they could install a used transmission from the junkyard. This is my everyday Driver/Work truck. I wanted my transmission rebuilt, but then I was told it would be an additional $500 on top of the $1800 that I was originally quoted, bringing the total to $2300.I was also told that I would receive the truck back on Monday. I didn’t receive it until Tuesday, costing me an extra day on a car rental. Picked up the truck that evening, test drove it, although the transmission did change gears, now the truck was going into safe mode, causing it to shut down four cylinders and run with a misfire. I assumed that it was a bad ignition coil or spark, plug, or something. However, I had to go out of town that night, and I was gonna deal with it once I got back. When I got back, I changed the spark plugs and ignition coils. The truck ran fine, but as soon as I started to drive it, I got first gear, second gear, and then it went into safe mode again. The transmission had no third gear or fourth. I called the Transmission shop to let them know the problem that I was having. I was told that I could not bring the truck in until the following Monday because there was no room in the shop. I took it back on the following Monday, and now I’m in another rental car and was told to give them a couple of days to check the transmission. I called back on Tuesday and was told that everyone was at lunch and they were going to get to it then. I called back on Wednesday and was told another excuse. By now, I am completely frustrated and just want my truck fixed, because when I brought it in, there were no issues with the engine. Only the transmission does not have a reverse. I did not receive my truck back until the following Monday. By then, I’ve spent almost $800 on car rental fees. I drove my truck back from OpaLocka to Ft Lauderdale. The truck drove fine. The very next morning. As I was getting ready to head to an appointment, I started the truck and shifted it into drive, and the truck went into reverse. I tried to get it back into Park and realized that it would not go into Park. I put on the emergency brake and shut the truck off. I then took off the cover on the inside by the shifter to see if the shifter cable was still connected, and it was. So it seems as if the shifter cable became detached from the transmission.. I did not have any tools with me, nor my jack, because I took everything out before taking it to the transmission shop. I had to call a mobile mechanic to come and fix the truck. he also confirmed that the cable was not attached to the transmission. Also, finding the metal clip on the ground that came loose from the transmission shifter cable. That cost me an additional $287 to get the transmission cable replaced. If the transmission shop had called me and said that they recommended changing the shifter cable since they had the transmission down and they had to disconnect it twice and put it back on the transmission twice, I would’ve agreed for it to be done. But, there’s no way that transmission was taken down out of the truck two times and not seen that the cable or connector was bad and needed to be replaced. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but this one has pushed me and that direction. From me being told that the truck would take three days to do it to it taking over a week, then having a truck for another week, then getting it back and not being able to drive it the next day over something that should’ve been taken care of while it was there in the shop. From being quoted $1800, then $2300, spending $800 on a car rental, and then spending another $287 to get a transmission shifter cable done. I can’t not make this up.

I don't like to do this but am a person that has a word. And when you talk about having word man to man, you keep it that way. They had me waiting for 1 week for one price, first Tuesday then Wednesday then Friday then no the price is this, like 400$ more than what we talked before. Lose of time, lying, don't come here. They will scam you some how. Be professional if thats what you decided to do. 0 Stars

The owner Willy is one of the most honest people you will meet. There work on my transmission was fast and the price was very fair. I drive from Cooper City to get my vehicle done.
