I had a really great experience at Prestige Auto Tech Kendall. The whole process was smooth and straightforward from start to finish. Adolfo was the one who helped me, and he was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He took the time to clearly explain what my car needed and answered all my questions without making anything feel complicated or rushed. What stood out to me most was the honesty. He was upfront about what needed immediate attention and what could wait, and there was no pressure to add on extra services. I also appreciated the updates while my car was being worked on it made the whole experience feel more transparent and stress free. The work was done in a timely manner, and my car has been running great since. It’s clear they take pride in what they do and value their customers. Overall, a very solid and trustworthy shop. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service.

Most service shops ask you to give them a good review. However, for this one, I asked them if I could give them a GREAT review! Had my Porsche boxster in for broken axle. Their shop is clean, professional, and their staff is excellent. All estimated are detailed, show photos, and good descriptions. I worked with Adolfo who always stayed in touch and communicated well with on on the status of my repair. It was done quickly, and at a reasonable price. I can recommend this shop without any reservations.

I highly recommend this auto repair shop. They are amazing. My first contact with Prestige Auto Tech was over the phone and the person who answered, Adolfo, was very polite and professional. He explained everything and kept me informed throughout the whole process. And had my vehicle ready in a timely manner. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was impressed at how clean and nice the shop is and how professional and courteous the staff is. I definitely recommend and will use Prestige Auto Tech again if needed (hopefully I won't need to😬). But thanks to all and especially Adolfo for the awesome job y'all did on my vehicle. BEWARE! OVERPRICED AND DISHONEST SERVICE. I brought my 2014 VW Jetta to Prestige Auto Tech for what I thought was a timing chain issue. I chose this shop because of their positive reviews, ignoring a few warnings about overcharging. Unfortunately, those negative reviews turned out to be true as I later found out. At first, Adolfo, the service advisor, seemed honest. I really believed he cared and was trying to help me. But after a few more conversations, especially over the phone, I realized he was simply repeating what he was told. They did not care I was a student and that I was in a tight budget even thought I let them know from the very beginning. None of that matter to them. They also kept pushing their financing options which I think are good but shouldn't be use as a tool to overcharge people. Their invoice was vague as you can see in the pictures below, with no part numbers, no labor hours, no itemize pricing. That along should be enough of a red flag for you steer clear from this place. Before proceeding to the diagnosis, they told me they had to remove many engine parts to check the timing chain and whatnots and that supposedly justified the price. I thought it was reasonable at the time. However, later I found out that there is an access point on the lower cover which allows one to see whether the chain tensioner is fully extended or not. In other words, all the dismantling was not necessary. I really find hard to believe the mechanics did not know that. What makes it worse is that their diagnosis was completely wrong. The noise had nothing to do with the timing chain. It was the alternator. I disconnected it later and the sound disappeared immediately. A simple check like that should have been done before tearing the engine apart. I must say they mention the alternator had some play but they never say that was causing the noise. What pisses me off the most about this horrible experience is that they wanted to replace everything they touched and then justify it by saying it was broken and there was no other choice. They wanted to replace the oil pan, the oil plug as well as the oil pump because, according to them, that could cause damage to the timing components. I found bizarre that there was something wrong with the oil pump since the car never had an oil pleasure issue before. Again, when I took it apart it was in excellent shape, not worn gear as they said, nothing wrong about it as you can see in the picture. The oil plug had a tiny leak which I was aware before taking the vehicle there. I was able to fix it with a $2 gasket instead of replacing the whole oil pan. I know it would have been better to replace the oil pan but I just can't afford it as I said multiple times. Besides, I took the car there for to get rid of the noise not to replace everything that was wrong with it. The car has almost 100k miles on it. Of course there is going to be wear and tear. They even wanted to replace that VVT sensor which I had already replaced prior to my visit, and they knew about it. Another thing I want to mention is a loose bolt they left on the upper cover after they put everything back. You can see it on a picture below. I notice it at home when I took a closer look at the engine. I can understand that we are all humans but I think you can do better specially if you charge people that much. The total estimate for the timing chain was almost 5k, twice the cost they told me when I ask for the worst case scenario before doing anything. Of course I refused to move forward and took my car somewhere else. This was longer than I anticipate even thought there is more that could be said. I'm sharing this because I think others should know and judge for themselves. I truly hope my experience prevents someone else from going through the same thing.

An excellent experience. We were taken care by Adolfo. Couldn’t be better. He is AWESOME. Very transparent and knowledgeable. A +. Will not hesitate to bring my BMW back for all its services.
