If I could give more than five stars, I would! I brought in my 20-year-old car that is in great shape but with its original transmission, it started to slip and show signs of wear and tear. knowing it was finally time for major repairs. From the moment I walked in, Alonso Transmission, Ralph.. the owner and his awesome son, they treated me like family. I highly recommend Alonso Transmission. My 20-year-old car needed a complete transmission overhaul, and they handled it with total professionalism. They were honest about the parts needed and kept me informed throughout the process It is rare to find a shop with this much integrity and heart. Thank you to the team for taking such great care of me and my car! I got another 20 yrs with my car. They took my 20-year-old vehicle and made it run like new. I had an amazing experience at Alonso Transmission in Miami. The customer service is truly on point from start to finish. Ralph was the one who helped me, and he couldn’t have been nicer—super professional, honest, and took the time to explain everything clearly. It’s hard to find people you can trust with your car, but Ralph made the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can tell they really care about their customers and the quality of their work. Highly recommend—definitely a 5-star experience!

He did the transmission for my husbands 2016 Toyota Tacoma about a year ago with excellent results and no more slipping. He most recently recommended a mobile diesel mechanic to come service a cummins shifter truck that had lost its linkage - -who through Ralph's advice was able to fix it with a couple of tips avoiding us towing the truck to his shop and saved us a lot of money. View on GoogleI will always recommend this shop. I brought in my Silverado because it was slipping slightly when changing gears, and they helped me save thousands of dollars. It turned out the issue was simply low transmission fluid, which was causing the slipping. I thanked them multiple times for their honesty and for helping me through the situation.

Needed to have the car towed and was stressed about having to deal with car troubles this far from home, but Ralph put me at ease. He explained everything over the phone, called me back multiple times in the process. He even knew the guys at the towing company, and called them to arrange for the vehicle to be dropped off after hours since it would be past closing time before the tow truck arrived. Thank you, Ralph at Alonso Transmissions, for great customer service to a worried out-of-state traveler.
