UPDATE 2: I retuned to them and they corrected the issue. My car was left overnight. UPDATE: I went there again to find out about the clunking going on with the transmission. I spoke with the tall thick guy which I believe is the same one I spoke to last week on the phone. That guy doesn't know how to educate the customers and is only good at making himself a victim when you counter argue. You can't be telling customers, "I have my 100 years of experience so take my word for it" or when you counter argue, "oh, you know more than me, I don't know anything". Complete lack of tact! So I drove that guy in my car. But man, mechanics are so numb that they don't notice the same little things that every day drivers do; it's a struggle. Only one of them had the right personality to explain a lot better what causes what symptoms. Hey. Give better technical explanations as some customers can understand them. Don't just say to take your word for it. Remember that we're trusting you to do it right since were paying a costly amount for a rebuild. Now I'm going to have to go back to them because apparently the transmission or flex plate is making some metallic noises. If the owner can fix this, I hope he can help. The noises I reported were there before except for 2nd gear banging during a manual downshift and I had mentioned it to the prior to the work. It seems that what I said went in one ear and out the other. The rude guy I dealt with was a tall one with a crew cut and a skinny beard. ______________________________________________________________ Job was done quick but after I had the car returned, it still does some clunking noises when it downshifts. I called someone today 2:40 PM. Sounded like his name was Mike and I told him what was happening. I don’t know if he’s just rowdy on the phone but sounded like a slight bad attitude. I’ll update once I go there for them to check it out.

I brought my car in for a leaking axle seal, and everything else on my car was fine. However, two days later, I received a call saying that my entire front end had been disassembled, making the car undriveable. They told me my differential was bad, and I needed a new axle, seals, bearings, and differential housing. At this point, I had no choice but to agree, as they claimed my car couldn’t be reassembled without the repairs. The car was kept for two weeks, and throughout this time, every time I called, I was told a part was missing. I would then find the part at local dealerships within hours, only to be told the next day that another part was needed. This went on for about a week and a half. When I finally picked up the car, a few hours later I had to return it because the other axle was leaking. It turns out they had forgotten to install a bearing on that axle. They did fix the issue, but shortly after, I noticed unsafe steering behavior. The car’s steering was not reattached properly after disassembling the front end. Now, the car can’t make left turns without grinding and stopping. I brought the car back on a Friday for them to check it. Jose, the mechanic, told me I needed to bring it back on Monday. I called them today (Monday, February 10) to confirm my appointment, but when I arrived, Jose (the tattooed, blonde mechanic) was rude and complained about his workload and said he will not fix the issue and to not go back there. He refused to fix the issue that they had caused. From missing parts after they returned the car to me, to causing more problems than I had before I took it there. I asked to speak to the owner, and was told the owner was not available. Five minutes later, the police arrived and informed me they didn’t want me on their property. I explained I had a warranty and that the repairs they made were causing issues, but they still refused to fix the problem. I was told it was a private business and they didn’t want to fix the problem. I was trespassed, and now I’ve lost $2,300. This place scammed me, refused to take responsibility, and even called the police to remove me when I was there for an appointment under warranty. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I strongly advise against going to this business. I filed a police report there and I’m preparing for a civil lawsuit against them.

Went to this shop because it was highly recommended. I have a 2017 traverse where the transmission was gone. Jose explained the process and showed me all parts that came out and rebuilt my transmission in a couple of days. Now the car feels like new again. Super satisfied with the shop and jose.
