J Tire & Auto Service

We had our two front tires (older but never installed/new) installed a week ago (6/15/26). They installed them right away, everything went smooth until the next day. I was driving the next day and vibration started, I pulled over to check and the passenger side tire was bubbled up, about half of it. Installed the spare and kept driving. On my way home the same day the driver side tire did the same thing. Thankfully I got home safe but checked the tire pressure on both tires and it was filled up to 65psi. The tire clearly states max psi is 35psi. It was too late to call the shop that night so I called the next day when they opened. I spoke to the young lady at the front desk and she told me they couldn't do anything about it. She told me "her guys would not make a simple mistake like that." I sent the same videos and pictures to her and got no response. These people have no consideration and wouldn't even attempt to fix the problem or even hear me out. I would not recommend this place. They have no sense of accountability at this shop. Yes this was a simple mistake but it cost me the price of another set of tires and time spent at a different tire shop. CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURE BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Which btw this is what the front desk lady told me I needed to do before I left the shop. This is not a professional business. I am now expected to check simple things like psi on tires before leaving and after paying for a service from a "professional tire shop." Update: my husband yes is the one that visited the shop but he uses my profile often for things like this as we dont necessarily need two profiles for this. He was aware that the tires were not brand new per say. They were older in age but never installed. The issue he had was the fact that the person who installed the tires completely disregarded recommended psi on the tire itself "max psi 35." The door states the psi for what the tires should be if they were the original rims and tires. Im sure owning a tire shop you would come across vehicles that do not have the original tire size and/or rim size on it. Thats why you have a max psi on the tire itself. Its unfortunate that the owner now cannot even own up to a simple mistake. People make mistakes and thats ok. My husband wasnt asking for much but just to be aware that there was a mistake made. Thank you, owner, this proves that there is no accountability in your business.

Very disappointed with my experience. I came in for a tire patch repair and was never informed that the repair plan would be changed. No one came out to explain concerns about my tire, discuss options, or tell me they were switching to a plug repair with no warranty. I only found out afterward by reading the receipt, which stated that the tire needed replacement and included a disclaimer. My issue is not the cost it’s the lack of communication. If there were concerns about the tire condition, I should have been informed and given the opportunity to ask questions and make a decision before work was performed. Customers deserve transparency and clear communication. Attach is a photo of the tire and it does not look bald or near the wear bars.

I had a great experience at J Tire and Auto Service. The service was fast, professional, and stress-free from start to finish. The staff was genuinely friendly, took the time to explain everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed or upsold. The shop itself has a welcoming, honest atmosphere—exactly what you want in a car service place. They got the work done quickly, did it right the first time, and treated me with respect the whole way through. It’s refreshing to find a reliable auto shop you can actually trust. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending J Tire and Auto Service to friends and family.

First time there for an alignment and I can't be more pleased. Awesome service with great prices. Finally found a no bs shop!!! The ladies at the counter were very friendly and helpful. The Techs take the time to show you what is wrong with your vehicle. No smoke and mirrors here!! They tell you what's wrong and what it will take to fix it the right way. Hard to find honest places like this one anymore!!!! Definitely coming back for all my vehicle's service and repairs.

I brought in a set of rims for my project ’96 Mustang. Before leaving the shop after the install, I noticed one of the rims had been freshly damaged. The staff reviewed the installation footage from inside the shop, and all the techs denied causing the damage. However, this clearly wasn’t old damage and does not match the wear of the existing damage The manager on shift was courteous and helped refer a repair shop. After I paid their referral, Dr. Rim, she offered to help with cost of repair. I acknowledge there were light scrapes on the rim beforehand, but this new damage could only have happened while the shop had these rims Somehow, they damaged my key in the process as well and it gets stuck in the ignition. As a Marine veteran, I hold honesty and accountability in high regard. Unfortunately, no one took responsibility for the damage, and based on this experience, I do not plan on returning or recommending their services.
