The mounted two tires and balance one of them. They put one tire on the car and the other tire in the trunk as spare tire, I paid $54 bucks tax included. The customer service is good but I just wonder if $54 was too much or it was a fair price?

I took my car here on Oct 31st 2025 to get my power steering & change an axle. I honestly used them because I was able to finance the fees. The power steering & 4 new tires total was over $1700. Less than a week later. I took the car back because it was still hard to turn my wheel. This time the worker advised that there was a leak due to engine oil leaking on the hose. So they charged me an additional $800 to change the hose & fix the leak. I added that amount to get financed again. Keep in mind they advised me that they can fix my car the same day or by the next morning but continued to give me the runaround about they received the incorrect parts. Both times they kept my car for 3/4 days. After I received my car back, it’s less that 7 days again, my steering wheel is still locking up. I also let them know I can hear a rattling sound coming from under the hood which has to be due to them changing the axle.I take the car back to them. This time Dec 1st, they tell me. There’s still a leak on a different hose & the sound I’m hearing is the wheel bearings that needs to be changed. So you basically never fixed my problem then you put brand new tires knowing the wheel bearing needed to be changed. Also they were gonna charge me a 3rd time for labor when they didn’t even fix the problem from day one Ridiculous. I’ve wasted so much money & the problem is not fixed til this day. Please do not go to them.

The service was super fast and thorough! Nice people all around and I really appreciate it, not only as a customer but more so as a woman. I don’t feel like I was taken advantage of, they were terrific.

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Negative Experience at VJ Tires Auto Repair & Coastal Collision I want to share my experience at VJ Tires Auto Repair & Coastal Collision (1000 N State Rd 7, Hollywood, FL) so others don’t go through what I did. First, I had my tires replaced there. After that, I decided to also have the shocks/struts replaced at the same shop. During that job, they broke a plastic cover that gives access to the strut bolts. They never told me, never took responsibility, and I only found out on my own when I checked the car. After that, I noticed a power steering fluid leak. When I went back, they told me I needed to replace the high-pressure switch of the power steering pump, a repair they charged me $500 for. Fortunately, one of the owners had given me a handwritten note listing which parts were urgent and which could wait — this note was the only reason I knew exactly what needed to be replaced. Despite that, they replaced the wrong part: instead of the switch, they replaced the high-pressure hose, and charged me the same $500 for it. In the following days, the leak persisted — even worse than before. When I returned, they finally admitted that the real problem was indeed the high-pressure switch, the very part I had originally requested. I showed them the handwritten note confirming the correct part, and only then did they acknowledge their mistake. Fortunately, this time it was covered under warranty and they finally replaced the correct part. After that, a noise appeared in the engine area. They diagnosed it as the belt tensioner and said I needed a new belt, tensioner, and pulley. I agreed to the repair. However, after the work was done, the noise did not go away. Their explanation was that “there were two noises,” that one was fixed, and the other was a separate problem requiring an engine inspection. This was an unreasonable excuse. I ended up researching on my own — forums, videos, and social media — and discovered that the noise was actually caused by the incorrect oil viscosity the car had, not a mechanical engine problem as they claimed. I corrected the oil and added a treatment, and the noise disappeared — something they were never able to diagnose. However, immediately after replacing the belt, tensioner, and pulley, a new noise appeared: a squealing sound during cold starts. When I brought the car back today, they told me it could be the alternator, lifters, or an internal engine issue, and that since the pulley was new, they would need to charge me $1,500 to inspect and repair the engine. The issue is clear: this noise did not exist before their work. It only appeared after their intervention, and yet they still want to charge me for another major job. Conclusion: Every time I take my car, I end up with a new problem. They replace the wrong parts, misdiagnose issues, charge for repairs that don’t fix the real problem, and even break components without notifying me. I am extremely dissatisfied with their professionalism and responsibility. I do not recommend this shop under any circumstances.
