They test-drove my car and heard the "clack-clack" noise coming from right next to the gear shift area. I told the senior mechanic—who seemed nice at first—that it was the center differential, and I even brought the OEM part and gearbox oil for the replacement. The next day, however, he claimed it was the rear differential causing the problem. I brought him that part along with all the seals, and he told me he would also need to replace the gearbox/transaxle oil. I figured, "Okay, they are supposed to be the experts." The total came out to labor $760.00, plus a $30 fee just for paying with a credit card. I did the math, and it worked out to a staggering $266.00 per hour in labor. They assured me the problem was solved, but when I got the car back, the noise was exactly the same. By this point, I am out $1,300.00. I asked them to replace the center differential for no additional labor cost to correct their mistake. The old man told me I would have to pay again. When I questioned the $266 hourly rate, they claimed, "We charge per job, not hourly." They refused to fix their mess unless I paid up, but they wouldn't even give me a straight price. I offered them $50, and suddenly their story changed to, "We don't know how long it will take"—so all of a sudden, they do charge by the hour. I took my parts and left. I will absolutely be filing a case against them. By the way, I am a certified jet engine mechanic; my left shoulder is just a little sore right now and I didn't want to aggravate it, which is the only reason I didn't do the job myself in the first place

Then they said electrical problem because I had a few wires repaired, they told me to bring it back to other shop that did the repair they found wiring was right. Come to find out engine was trash they just lost a good job for not diagnosing the problem
